Hello, you beautiful people (and those less beautiful too, no discrimination here), how’s it going in this fine morning/afternoon/evening? Another Monday, another PoL, another progress report on the state of HC3.

So, this week has been more productive than the last. I’ve finished and tested Rose’s first scene, all the events with the maids, and a bunch more stuff. I’ve also finished and entirely tested the second story segment between the first and second scene, and I have spent most of my weekend focusing on Rose’s second scene, on which you can see a snippet of in the screenshot above. It was mostly planning and sending out commissions though.

This one will have a bunch of custom animations, as with most scenes thus far, and a bunch of people joining in. Leto will even make an appearance, although I won’t spoil much more than that. No, he won’t be directly involved because, even with that mask on, he’d recognize Rose right away. We’re not quite at that point in the story (yet). I’m also trying to strike a healthy balance of the girls being lead around by their antagonist, but also being proactive.

I think this update will end up slightly lighter on the scenes. Not that much though. Instead of 3 scenes, we’re getting 2 scenes and a half (Rose’s first scene is smaller in length) + the usual extra scene. That way, I can dedicate more time to the side stories that I haven’t progressed at all in the last update.

They would need to have swappable faces so as to illustrate their level of corruption. Rose's :O face with her bikini doesn't quite fit her damn near evil demeanour.

It's difficult to generate a figure without a good reference or a detailed description, ha ha ha.

They would need to have swappable faces so as to illustrate their level of corruption. Rose's :O face with her bikini doesn't quite fit her damn near evil demeanour.

I tried to make their faces a little more perverted or lewd in their bikini versions, but the results were horrible, ha ha ha.

If I remember correctly, Cyanna and Rose wore makeup when they infiltrated a brothel to help Leto, but I don't recall any other occasions when they wore it.

Perhaps in the NTR ending, where the girls have sex with everyone, they might wear makeup. I have no doubt that, given the level of corruption they will reach in the NTR endings, they won't care much about dressing like prostitutes or wearing more lascivious clothing.

Something that’s always bugged me: how on earth did nobody let little Leto stay in the castle after losing his parents to the towers? I mean, literally is a motherfucking castle—don’t tell me there wasn’t a single spare room lying around. But nooo, they just had to dump him with the masochistic elf and the submissive captain. Honestly, feels like Rose’s parents never thought Leto was good enough anyway. At the end of the day, he was just a plain ol’ commoner, right? XD

I went to check the scenes in the reminiscence room to verify, and indeed, the portraits of Rose and Cyanna during those events show them wearing makeup.

I mean, Rose's dad is a giant asshole. Let's not forget that he is a recovering psychopathic rapist who is so self absorbed and obsessed that he staged his own death and left his only daughter in the hands of a known megalomaniacal madman.

My thoughts for the ending are for it to mimic HC2 somewhat. Something specific is going to happen that causes everyone to doubt him and I feel like it has to come from his own actions. Leto is too competent to simply wind up losing like Casio and Noah did, he has to fuck up somehow. Id like to see Leto find the secret macguffin that the duke found however many updates ago it was, find a way to link it back to the duke, and for the duke to either have moved it before Leto is able to bring Rose and Cyanna to it thus humilating him similar to how Zeno moved the potions in HC2, or for the duke to reveal it as a way to solve the peacekeeper dilemma thus making Leto look like desperate, paranoid fool. Then queue everyone rejecting him and he somehow winds up leaving town and with the aboriginal peoples of the island which is how he dodges whatever nonsense the duke pulls to conquer the kingdom which sets him up to save the day.

Yeah, it really does feel like N_Taii is purposefully holding Rose's creampies back to the very, very last moment of corruption before the end. Like it's meant to mark her true downfall or something.
