We haven't gotten there yet, we still need Lily and Haylen's update before starting the endings, but at this point, Rose and Cyanna already know about each other and have accepted that they are sluts for pleasure. There were many good scenes, with sharing options, and the kingdom subplot is also very promising, with new characters who seem to have connections to Leto, who is very active now.
After replaying the game from the start, I find it hard to believe that all the girls who clearly love the MC so deeply could just abandon him for men they don’t even care about, especially without ever sleeping with him first. At least if they had shared one moment of intimacy with Leto, they could have compared that connection to what they experience later, and maybe realized what they were losing.
The prologue already shows that every girl loves Leto beyond a sibling or friendly bond, but steps aside once they see him with Rose. That makes the NTR side of the story much harder for me to find believable. Watching those same women lie to him, or in Cyanna’s case, even hide that Rose is sleeping with the Duke, makes them seem untrustworthy. It gives the impression that when things get worse, they’d betray him again without hesitation.
I personally would have preferred that the girls were coerced instead of acting willingly, and that they were too ashamed to tell Leto what happened. It would make their situation more tragic and their guilt more real. I really hope that Rose doesn’t actually fall for that disgusting Duke and that even in the NTR endings, her actions are purely physical and done for the sake of the kingdom.
I understand that Rose might be portrayed as completely depraved and sexually obsessed, and the succubus element helps justify that, but without that magical corruption, I can’t see how any woman could fall for her abuser, especially when she already has a man like Leto, who clearly loves her and is supposed to be better in every way.
If Leto is made to look too weak, it will ruin the consistency of both the revenge and happy endings. I could see a Netorase-type route fitting into the story, even if it’s not something I personally enjoy, where Leto develops a fetish for watching the one he loves with others. But a pure Netorare ending, where the woman completely falls body and soul for another man, can only make sense through hentai logic.
Eventually, when the pleasure fades, those women would realize that there’s nothing left with those men. The interlopers lied to them, used them, and destroyed their lives. That’s why I think the happy ending could be a form of revenge, where Leto moves on, the women regret their choices, and when they finally see him again, he’s surrounded by others who truly care for him. When they try to talk to him, he rejects them just as they once rejected him.
If this were a real story, no relationship could survive that kind of betrayal. Only fiction could save a couple after such a thing. If I were in Leto’s place, I’d honestly see those women as lost causes.
Still, the fact that Leto doesn’t judge them could be part of why they all fell in love with him. Maybe that’s his strength.
And to be honest, I don’t hate NTR at all. My favorite character is Cyanna, and I actually wish Leto had broken up with Rose to be with her. I wonder if Cyanna would have accepted him if he had confessed after saving her from that bastard she’s with.
In the end, they’ll probably all justify their actions by saying they did it to protect Leto, but if I were him, that wouldn’t be an excuse I could ever accept.
The thing is, the game is so emotionally heavy and well-written that it’s easy to get this invested and talk about it with so much passion. That’s what makes Hentaria Chronicles such a unique experience.
Honestly, I don’t know, but for me, the scene where Leto was masturbating in the bathroom while Rose was having sex with other men in the other section of the bathroom was totally unnecessary. I mean, it makes Leto look really bad compared to the protagonists of the previous entries in the series. I guess N_taii was trying to show a glimpse of what Leto will be like in the two Netorare endings especially the one where he’s aware of what’s really happening but to me, it was super unnecessary. At this point in the story, after how much he’s avoided sexual acts he’s witnessed before, it makes no sense for him to suddenly start jerking off to the moans of some random girl he doesn’t even know.
Rose and Cyanna really hit rock bottom in this update. Rose, at the beginning, literally admits to Leto in their conversation that she’s enjoying what she’s doing, indirectly telling him that she likes sleeping with other men and women right to her boyfriend’s face, in a way he doesn’t even realize what she’s actually saying. Then there’s Rose, who suddenly gets jealous just because she sees Leto spending time with other women who want to get closer to him, even though she’s already slept with half the kingdom. And the worst part? Cyanna doesn’t even reject or say no to anything Ulrod tells her to do. She’s supposed to be smarter than Rose smart enough to see when someone’s taking advantage of her but instead of questioning things or helping Rose realize what’s really happening, she just goes, “Let’s prostitute ourselves together so we don’t feel so lonely while we lie to Leto’s face.”
I really liked the sex scenes they were great. The plot of Shiala going to the hidden native village to ask for help just because Leto asked her to was a nice touch. I guess we can count Shiala among Leto’s potential partners for the revenge and happy endings. Leto’s gonna need the blessing of the god of sex, because damn with so many female characters around, he’s gonna end up completely drained. XD
As for the two NTR endings, I’m guessing that when the natives arrive to help Leto, Rose and Cyanna will somehow stick their noses in and ruin everything. XD That’s why, to me, the revenge ending would fit canonically much better.

I agree with you about that bathroom scene. It completely breaks the tone of Leto’s character. Up until that point, he had always resisted humiliation, and then suddenly he’s jerking off while Rose is with other men? That doesn’t make sense for him at all. He’s supposed to be strong-willed and grounded, not someone who finds pleasure in being degraded.
For me, the darker side of NTR only works when it’s built on emotional conflict and manipulation. The MC needs to feel betrayed but still strong enough to walk away from those who broke his trust. Then, when the girls realize what they’ve lost and try to come back, it’s too late. That kind of emotional collapse hits harder than any simple “corruption” plot.
I’m hoping the revenge route this time really belongs to Leto himself. In HC2, Noah’s revenge felt like it was controlled by others, not something that came from his own will. I want Leto to make the villains pay himself. Death is too merciful; true punishment is humiliation, regret, and watching everything you’ve taken away burn in front of you.
Cyanna’s case also bothers me. She’s clearly smarter than Rose, but she still gives in way too easily. Her fall would have been much more impactful if she had at least struggled against Ulrog instead of instantly obeying him. That lack of hesitation makes her arc feel forced instead of emotional.
Even with all of that, I still love this series deeply. Hentaria Chronicles has a unique way of combining lust, guilt, and emotional storytelling that few other games even come close to. I just hope N_taii continues to refine the emotional side of these stories because when it works, it’s truly unforgettable.
