It's weird to say considering I have no real interest in Lily's content, but I'm now looking forward to Lily's update because I can't see it being worse than the last two simply because Lily has logical personal stakes.
Quick question: What do you think about having a female opponent in the next Henteria game?

Proof Of Life #222: Soon...
Hey hey people, here's your favor-... your belov-... your slightly average NTR dev N_Taii with another ominously-titled PoL, most definitely the last one before the first release of the new update. Hope you're having a nice morning/afternoon/ night by the way, and that hearing the release is near is making it at least a bit better.
So, to report on my progress, I've basically finished all the content that's going to be in the update, save for the freeroams that I always do last (I'm aiming for three in this update). The extra scene is done, and Cyanna's scene also, so a good week all-in-all.
I still need to replace a few placeholders with the animations I received, and I'm waiting on a few more that should be here very soon. That doesn't mean I'm done though, as I've got to test the two last scenes, add them to the reminiscence room, then retest the whole update again (but skipping all the text) so I can make sure there's no sneaky game-breaking bugs. Then there's still the walkthrough to fill, add the saves, edit the quest board, etc...
So a bunch of stuff that shouldn't take too long, except for the freeroams that I want to make as interactive as possible. Still, expect a new post with a link to download Update 13 in the next few days.

A little late because the update is out haha, but there are still people who like to read the PoL so it doesn't matter.
Honestly, while the scenes are good and the story is progressing well, there's something I don't like, Leto is too passive. In HC2, it made sense because he was a teenager, but now Leto is too old to be so passive and naive.
I feel Leto is a little less naive than Noah, but in a way I would also like Leto to be a little more suspicious considering the point of the story where we are already. Already practically all the girls have had sex with their antagonist, only Lily is missing and it's probably her turn for the next update.

Has there been an estimated total amount of updates for this game? I've been waiting to try it, since I don't want to miss any updates that get added to earlier parts of the game in the later stages of development like I did for HC2, but I'm getting antsy to play it, and I don't know if I'll be able to hold out for too much longer. I expect there to be more updates than the 16 that HC2 had, given that it's a bigger game, but I'm not sure how many more than that it would take.
The game is huge, it takes its time developping the characters and ramping up the tension. I think it's better and more enjoyable to play it little by little, so I wouldn't worry about playing it now. But you do you.

There 've been many creators that they post here their work willingly. And they are very successful 2. There are people here that talks with every npc check every wall. To inform for errors and communicate with the developer.

The best guess we can say right now with no real evidence is "almost certainly more than 20 at this rate", based on how the story is going and because every main story update is followed by a month for Lily's sidequest and then another month for Haylen's sidequest after that. So if we are comparing it to Chapter 2... I feel like it would be more fair to say we are closer to Update 8 or 9, in terms of how the story feels right now.
I would actually be pretty surprised if the game is finished by the end of the year, because if we look at how things have been paced out so far with the development usually taking somewhere around 30-40 days... There would only be enough time left for two more main story updates between now and December.
Update 13 just came out this month — main story
14 in June — Lily sidequest
15 in August — Haylen sidequest
16 in September — main story
17 in October — Lily
18 in November — Haylen
19 in December — main story
I can't speak for Update 13 yet, but going by where 10 left off, it really doesn't feel like we are anywhere close to wrapping things up.
