Proof Of Life #212: Sneaky, Sneaky

Heya guys, gals, and other mammals looking at this post, how is it going in this fine morning/afternoon/evening? I've personally been spending the last two hours working, and I'm here to report on that as well as what happened since last Monday.

Another good week of work done. I finished and tested the 1st scene, also finished and tested the 2nd scene, which is a mini-scene that was initially supposed to be merged with the 3rd, and I'm currently working on the 3rd scene, almost halway through it.

The 3rd scene, of which you can take a glimpse in the picture above, is quite a complicated one, especially the visual aspect of it. It's almost two scenes in one, but always with the same characters, and happening at the same time, yet double the animations. Sounds weird, I know, but I don't want to spoil too much so I'll leave it at that for now.

After that, I'm planning on one interlude with a few new maps to progress the story (and add the extra scene) before I make the 4th and last scene of Haylen's fifth quest. As you can see, there should be quite a lot of content for this quest, so I can't promise I'll be able to work on anything else before the release. I might just dedicate the remaining time to add more freeroam events and progress a few mini-stories too. I'll see once I get there, and I promise to let you know in a future PoL too!

I will admit, I don't like the fact that one of the scenes from the next update is going to be wasted on the other nun.

I had hoped that Naevrys scene was meant to be the extra scene but it doesn't seem to be the case.
This is something i would also dislike if it happened to Rose or Cyanna but imo it hurts even more for Haylen because she's a side character and alrerady gets less screentime and scenes. Now even more of that gets taken away.

but I liked it. Althought it misses some strong points like the choice making and the strong rp elements

Love the idea, even if i don't see how that would work...yet, mainly cause in the NTR ending the antagonists win and if it's as you said above, how it's 1 NTR ending with two variations, then i assume the ending is the same storywise (mainly), it's just the girls's fate that's different, and while i can easily see Jazon or Nezar "lending" their girls out to other people, i can't say the same for the Duke and DEFINITLEY not for Ulrod.

I am all in when it comes to the idea of a "village bicycle" branch to the NTR ending for all four girls and would absolutely love to see that option... But if that doesn't pan out for specific story reasons in this case (i.e., just not making sense for certain characters like the Duke or Ulrod)

Sorry for the late reply and bringing this up again, but while I agree in the case of Ulrod, I'm not so sure I do for Duke. I haven't played the last couple updates so maybe this has changed since then, but throughout the content I played through, I never got the feeling that Duke had any real feelings for Rose or that he expressed any desire for her to be his alone. On the contrary, Rose's first scene is her with a hidden vibrator in front of an audience, and another scene is a threesome with the head maid. So Duke has already shown that he's willing to parade her around and share her at least to some extent, and I don't think it would be out of place to take that a few steps further. The Duke could call in one of his nameless guards to watch he and Rose, or possibly have the guard participate himself, or he could order Rose to participate in some sort of topless outfit debauchery as part of her job at the bar, and he could rationalize these types of things to her as the humiliation aspect increasing the amount of energy she generates for the tower.

But again, I haven't played the last few updates, so maybe this type of thing would no longer make sense with whatever has happened beyond the point I've played.

Yeah, that's my main issue with it too. The HC games are corruption and NTR focused, for the first trailer just to vaguely be all "We got spicy scenes with real voice acting!" is kind of misleading. Especially when the voice acting is limited to grunts and groans and the main character gets no cheated on, emotionally abused, and forgotten about. It wouldn't take a lot to change it, just change it so the description of the scenes mentions corruption clearly. Also maybe when the title card appears instead of just having it pop up have the letters N, T, and R fade in before anything else.

Its a bait until they hook up and then traumatised and they can't escape again. I was thinking writing this reply. should we make a fundraiser for voiceacting of the females characters? The pros the players will be more attacked and the betrayal will become greater . Thse cos will be the filling of the pixel rpg will be moderated
