Especially with Rose it makes sense. It feels pretty organic that she needs to do more and more depraved stuff and group stuff is a pretty natural evolution of that.

As far as i can remember the pendant powering the peace keepers is bound to the duke. And as long as the duke isn't near Rose it either does not charge up at all or only to a small part.
Her story is linked to the duke and for things to change the duke would either have to agree to let others corrupt her or Rose would find an alternative to the dukes pendant.

Of course this is ultimately a porn game, if enough people want the story to change in a specific way then it will be changed regardless of the plot. I have my doubts about how many supporters are really keen into such a change, however. Most times it's a minority trying to seem more than they actually are, making it up with a lot of noise and persistance.

Well I could say the same thing about vocal minority being the people against the group scenes.

Usually people are more vocal when they push against stuff they dislike, rather than push for stuff they like.

Should I start threatening with my sub as well to get my way? Really dislike how people keep insinuating the patreon numbers will drop because of it. It is pretty low handed trying to use scare tactics on the dev.

I don't think there is anything wrong with expressing support for the kind of content that you would like to see in the game when N_taii seems open to exploring it. From what I've seen, it's just been a bunch of people saying that they are personally excited.

Actually, every single post you've seen that talks about this was me on my other accounts, as a matter of fact i have a bunch different Patreon accounts and each week whenever there is a new PoL i'm just asking N_Taii random questions on all of them just to make them look like they're individual people. I'm like the guy from Split, i have 24 different personalities, except that mine are basically pretty much the same as me with the only exception that each and every one of them has their own Patreon accounts and they're all subbed to N_Taii.
Matoga isn't even my main account, this is my ATLAS and i have a Frank Fontaine somewhere.

Anyways i gotta go, it's 3pm so the PoL is about to drop, i gotta log in with all of my accounts before it's out so that i can be the first 10 people who liked it.

I think it might actually be a little more complicated than just the duke being nearby. I once brought up the idea of Rose simply stealing the amulet and going off to ride Leto until his hips are a fine powder since her enjoyment of the sexual acts ensures a greater release of power into the amulet. I don't recall the exact specifics since it was quite a while ago but N_Taii indicated that the amulet only works with the duke, whether that means he simply has to be present, he controls whether or not Rose's sexual acts regardless of his participation charge the amulet, or he has to participate in the act I don't remember but if it's the third option then Rose sleeping with men other than the duke would indicate a major shift in her corruption.

I don't recall the exact specifics since it was quite a while ago but N_Taii indicated that the amulet only works with the duke, whether that means he simply has to be present, he controls whether or not Rose's sexual acts regardless of his participation charge the amulet, or he has to participate in the act I don't remember but if it's the third option then Rose sleeping with men other than the duke would indicate a major shift in her corruption.

I'm pretty sure the only time we heard about how the medallions work was when the Duke was explaining them to Rose, therefore we as players only know as much as the Duke wants Rose to know, which is the bare minimum. He could easily be lying about the whole "it only works when i'm around" part and it's just simply a medallion that charges up whenever something sexual is happening around it.

Goddamn...i spent the better half of the first 10 minutes trying to figure out what is happening with those silhouettes in today's PoL and once the shapes and figures finally made sense...WOW. I am so sorry to inform you Miss Y but you ARE going spend money on porn this month and there's nothing you can do about it.

I'm not even sure if i should post the image itself cause y'all are better off not seeing it while we're still weeks away from the release, but i don't really feel bad since i have to live with the knowledge as well so...go nuts:

I was basing that on the last PoLs'. Generally speaking it can be added. As i said the duke doesn't seem to be one who would like to share but ultimately it's a porn game so if something is popular it simply will be changed. The duke may have lied when introducing the pendant.

You seriously need to chill out a bit dude. So saying 5-10 people wanting something does not automatically mean the other 600 odd people will like it means manipulating and threatening huh? uff
The only thing truly hurting developers is if their own visions for their game clashes with like 90% of their fanbases' wishes. That sucks. Either make a game you don't really like or lose quite a lot of cash. But i usually only see this with pornhwas. Author wants to add ntr and koreans threaten the poor guy to skin him alive, lol XD

Adding to this it's also somewhat my fault. Reading my two comments about this topic and you can get the impression something big was about to change. For all we know this may be nothing more than one of 2-3 scenes. Or the main part stays in the corresponding ending.
It was silly to point out how it *may* or *could possibly be* something something major in the future, leading to trigger a ... very invested person.

I rolled a Nat20 on perception and i was able to figure out that the girl on the left in the small window is Cyanna who is probably having sex with someone (probably the same guy who was groping her in the previous PoL), and the girl on the right is Rose who is likely grinding on someone's crotch.
Keep in mind nothing i say is actual facts, this is only what i THINK is happening.

Yeah you're right. I was kinda trying to say a couple of people saying X doesn't mean the 95% (always) staying quiet also would like said X. But this is generally speaking not just on this topic.
For big changes it's best to vote - which ntaii usually does. It's on my part wrong to make things bigger than they actually are, leading to trigger some odd people.

Honestly, I'm pretty shocked to see it go THAT far based on how the original Patreon comments about this update made it sound more like dipping a toe into the water first to see how it feels... But in a good way, where my brain is just scrambling with anticipation to figure out the context for how this whole situation could go down to wind up there.

Group scenes are naturally a part of ntr since forever. Suddenly the majority of ntr fanbase wants monogamy? This is not vanilla vs ntr contrasts.

But inevitably the time will come when Rose, Cyanna, Haylen and Lily will be the direct protagonists of the extra scenes...

P.S: My comment is based on the fact that we have to remember that in HC2, the main girls had some extra scenes (in fact one of them is one of my favorites of the game).

Besides that if I remember correctly (maybe I imagined it) N_taii said that he would do his best to lengthen the use of the secondary characters for the extra scenes, but that surely at some point the option would come that Cyanna, Rose, Lily and Haylen would have to have some extra scenes.
