I kinda disagree? I could see it going that route for sure, but I also think that it could happen when Cyanna is too far in to just stop, but not so far gone to where she's all in on riding the Brutus train. Because unlike Rose, it's harder to set up the circumstances in which Cyanna acquiesces and doesn't just fight back against Brutus. Rose needs to put the crown ahead of Leto due to how high the stakes are, but Cyanna's top priority will always be Leto, I feel. So you can't really go the normal blackmail route with her, like the Duke is with Rose.I know that he's not the same person Cyanna knew as a kid and he's probably much worse than what he let's on, but my guess is that Cyanna's gonna be too far gone by the time she finally realises what kind of a person Brutus truly is, and that's what i don't like about her corruption
Plus, Cyanna is inevitably going to find out the stuff Brutus is involved in, and even if she was fine with Brutus before that moment, she's definitely going to be conflicted after finding out. Cause there's a big jump between "trading sexual favors for the safety/preferential treatment of your LI out of guilt" and "being okay with rape".
And honestly, I feel like the corruption works better that way anyway. It would be weird if the only conflict Cyanna had was with her feelings for Leto, and not involve Brutus' behavior/her own morals at all.
