Just to chime in as the contrarian, I think that is a perfectly acceptable solution for where we currently are in Chapter 3.
But if I had one thing to really wish for in Chapter 4, I think that if it tries to have more than two leading ladies again — and despite being labeled as "sidequests", I feel like Haylen and Lily are still effectively main characters given how they have taken up ~66% of the game's development time... Having four predominantly monogamous NTR stories like that hurts way more than it helps, in the same way that good games or movies can suffer from their genres being heavily oversaturated. The fact that Rose, Haylen, and Cyanna are all following the same pattern with slightly different flavors (with Rose probably being the most unique out of those three) makes me enjoy each one a little less because the comparisons between them are so direct. I can't even imagine what the game's pacing would feel like if I hadn't lost interest in Lily so early on, but her story clearly just wasn't for me and I don't think that is a bad thing when other people are enjoying her content.
And that's how I wish it was for having more public use NTR in the series; that including it shouldn't come down to it being a universal thing where it happens to every single girl, because that would be every bit as repetitive as the current "villain-centric" formula I keep critiquing. But having one out of four characters potentially go down that path instead shouldn't be particularly controversial. I would've much preferred that over the extra NTR ending where it happens to all of them at the very end.
This is actually something I agree with, especially now that we've reached a point where all four women are actually having regular sex with their partners. Things have, more or less, played out similarly enough across the board, with some variation due to Lily's content feeling inconsistent due to changes in direction. Some variation in the routes the women take would improve the game considerably. It doesn't really make sense for Rose, due to her station and importance to the duke's plans, or Haylen due to her position as a nun, but we have two other characters it could easily work for.
As we stand only Rose, Cyanna, and Lily have all had some sexual behaviour with characters who are not their primary partner, but Lily is the only one who has regular contact with someone she's provided a sexual favour to that is not her primary partner. She's had sex with the magic shop owner and given head to her boss at the tavern. Lily is positioned to actually turn into a slut, doubly so given her area of employment. First she screws the owner of the magic shop regularly, in her next update she bangs the tavern owner and by the end of it starts wearing a more lowcut top with a much higher cut skirt, begins flirting with customers for bigger tips, which leads her to providing sexual favours to customers, and eventually full on prostitution using getting her family over to the city as a thin justification to getting railed for money.
With Cyanna she could wind up having sex with more people simply due to her job. Cyanna is recognize as being drop dead gorgeous by her subordinates. She's surrounded by men and women who find her attractive, many of whom have difficulties with not having sex on the job. The only real stumbling block is Ulrod since he's so far been depicted as very possessive and abusive towards Cyanna. With that said Cyanna fucking around on him would be a great way for her to NTR her NTRer and it would be a pretty satisfying twist.
I don't really like characters going full slut in my NTR, largely because it usually winds up going too far with how the character changes. But in a game like this with four women to choose from it makes sense for at least one of them to branch out in terms of the fetishes they cover. Just... no BDSM.
