Sunday. Probably late in the day (CET). I ran into an unforeseen issue where apparently you can't create more than 999 maps in one RPGMaker MV project and I hit that limit, so I had to scramble to find a solution, and that wasted some time.Any ETA on that Update N_taii ? I think you are the third person that I read that happens hahaha, I guess the devs of RPG Maker MV didn't think that sometime someone would make a game with so many maps and I guess that in their internal tests with 999 maps was enough for the program not to suffer a crash or something like that.Sunday. Even so I am glad to know that you found a solution, if it is one that you found in the RPG Maker forum I think I know what it is, (if that solution still works, because it was for RPG Maker VX ACE)
By curiosity, does that mean that for future games you are going to change program or you will stay with RPG Maker?
I first downloaded and tried to add a plugin that it took me far too long to realize wasn't made for RPGMaker MV, then I found another one that looked like it'd be a pain to get working, so in the end I decided to delete a bunch of map I mainly used to test sprites and animations so I could make the last maps needed for this update. Not doable unfortunately. I need all the maps I have made so far + all the events every time I deploy a new update, or the game simply won't work^^ But there's a mod specifically to bypass the 999 limit that I'll try out laterI think easiest solution long-term would probably be copy&paste the project, delete all/most maps and call it act 2.
But Im not familiar enough with RPGM to say that this is for sure the most time-efficient solution, and idk if youd have to be careful of breaking anything when you do that.
