It was published in the Latest Updates, I remember it and you can still see it there

Well, then the dates in the OP are wrong and misleading:
Thread Updated: 2025-04-11
Release Date: 2025-03-28
Those dates should refer only to the latest game version: the date it was released by the dev vs. the date it was leaked here.
I went back to the 28th March and nothing was commented in this thread. Conversely, last Friday April 11 the compressed version was published here, so it matched the 2025-04-11. That's why I thought the update had been published by the dev on March 28, and first appeared on this site on April 11. And I hadn't seen it promoted in Latest Updates that day.
I honestly have no idea what the two dates in the OP may refer to, but they are definitely wrong if the latest release was shared here 1 month ago.

Thread update is the Date when the OP was updated.
Release date is the Date when the update we updated the OP with was FIRST! released doesn't matter where on the Devs pages, or if it was a Paid update only.

Fair enough, that's what I said too. BUT the Thread Update date only refers to the latest game version published here, not to some other stuff that might have been added to or changed in the OP. Do you understand what I mean?

Release date is the day when the dev originally released the latest game version on Patreon or wherever it was, whether paywalled or free.
Thread Update date is the day when the OP included the latest game version or patch. It must not refer to anything else: a walkthrough, a link to a compressed version, a mod, etc. Only the latest game update here.

Look at BaDIK's thread, for example:

Screenshot 2025-04-17 at 19-38-27 VN - Ren'Py - Being a DIK v0.11.1.png

The dev published v.0.11 on March 8, but one day later there was a bug-fix update v.0.11.1 which was also immediately uploaded to F95. For that reason, the Release Date is March 8, and the Thread Update date is March 9.
However, that OP has received multiple modifications afterwards, updating links, extras and stuff. Actually, the OP was last modified on April 3, as it can be seen in the bottom right-hand corner

Screenshot 2025-04-17 at 19-36-09 VN - Ren'Py - Being a DIK v0.11.1 DrPinkCake F95zone Adult G...png

Yet the Thread Update date was not changed into April 3, because it shouldn't; it would be misleading.
That date should refer exclusively to the day the latest game version was added to the OP.

Therefore, I repeat, if this game Her Last Piece was uploaded here 1 month ago, and there hasn't been any new patch or version added to the OP since then, why does it state in the OP "Thread Updated: 2025-04-11"?
I believe that is not correct.

We try it that way but it doesn't work that way always, Earlier I updated a thread and only added the new Android version so obviously I changed the thread updated date, but PC/Mac werent shared.

I am not sure about BaDIK I was the one who updated it both times. Maybe just forgot it. Or it released on the 8th my time but I didn't update the thread until the 9th.

Because there was a new release on the 11th but it didn't get promoted... Cause it was only bugfixes.

And this simple sentence was the answer to my original question... o_O
I came here, saw the date April 11, but had seen no promotion in Latest Updates, so I wondered why.
A bugfix version justifies changing the Thread Update date in the OP because it's indeed the most recent game version published here.

Amazing game!
But why haven't I heard about it anywhere? Literally no advertising, no discussion, even on the Steam page there are only 2 screenshots that absolutely can't interest the buyer. I just don't understand why the developers, putting so much effort into the game, didn't try to give it at least the slightest bit of fame?

Here is the latest Patreon post.

Roadmap for Act 3 - and Q&A answers!

26 April
Heya folks.

It's a good moment to combine answer some questions to questions you had, and questions you didn't ask but still deserve and need.

As such, we would like to present the honest truth for Act 3 as a get go, before moving on to the Q&A.

As it stands right now, we're posed with a genuine problem we're not in a position to resolve. As you might know and understand, Her Last Piece is quite heavy on the art division, and Her Last Piece has simply not been quite the financial success we have obviously all hoped for.

This is fine, this is not inherently the problem. The problem is what comes after. Our artist has sadly come in a position where he needs to dedicate time to other projects to be able to afford a daily life, something we had not anticipated for when starting this project, but life... well, life happens.

As it stands, the entire script is written, edited and proofread, and on the coding front we should not need a lot of time, I'd argue roughly a month, maybe two, considering most of the surrounding code has been finished already.

The problem is the art is so substantial, we're potentially looking at a year's time to get Act 3 done. We've looked at a lot of other options, but they either require resources or skills we lack. Hiring another artist is something we simply cannot consider, for example.

The only option we believe we have left is one we want to offer as an option to you, the player. We know it's immensely disappointing to have to wait a year, and it truly bothers us a lot too, but we'd like to look into changing the workflow a little to release Act 3 in parts.

This would mean the artist would finish a part, before moving to the next. These would be several scenes, culminating in about a third of the chapter per part.

In such case, the parts could likely release every 2-4 months or so, or faster if the financial situation lets up enough to shift the work schedule.

Additionally, we could release parts in phases as well, where we initially release a part only illustrated, with no animations except for those already created in earlier acts, and then the next update is focused on animating that part.

A release schedule as such would look like this, in that case:
Part 1:
1A - Illustrated
1B - Animated
Part 2:
2A - Illustrated
2B - Animated
Part 3:
3A - Illustrated
3B - Animated

It's of course hard to say how long every part/phase combination would take but we could offer you updates a lot more frequent, even if we can't offer you the full game.

Please feel free to let us know your thoughts on the matter. We're not perfect people, so perhaps you might have an idea that could resolve the situation in better ways which we haven't thought about, either.

We sincerely apologize for this letdown, but we want to stress that we will continue to finish Her Last Piece, even if it takes a year indeed.

Thank you.

I was really, REALLY enjoying this game. I fell madly in love with the Queen... until she turned out to be a sub instead of a Domme. I'm not into MaleDom, only FemDom. Sorry.

:WaitWhat: But the game includes both a femdom route and a maledom route (I wouldn’t even call it a maledom; it’s more of a vanilla romance).

Well how do you do the FemDom route? I got to the scene in the sex dungeon and wasn't even given an option. It just had a button for "Take Charge," and that was it. There was no other choice.

There are Yandere and Romance points. Yandere points need to be higher if you want Arvenia to be the dom. You can use URM or MultiMod in the OP to see which options give which points.
