"Hi everyone! About two months ago I've released the first stable version of my side-project, Project Alice, since then I've made a few additions and I would like to share it with you all again.
First, I've added a new region, an Orc Village, with two new enemies with multiple animations. This new region also has a new trap that Alice can 'accidentally' activate or be carried into.
As a way to encourage exploration, I've added chests scattered throughout the map. Each chest has a chance to spawn at the start of every run, meaning you might see a chest in one place and not find it again on the next run. Chests also have a variable cooldown period, so there is a chance that after X hours/days it will spawn again.
I'm really having a fun time with this project, so I thought it was time to give Alice a voice of her own. She now has her own VA with a vast, consistent library of SFX for multiple situations.
I've been playing around with different ways to progress, so the attribute system was reworked and Alice can now level up.
There were some small changes that... To be honest I didn't remember/bother to write down, like new buffs/traits, an enemy attack preview, better tree shadows, etc.
