Should be fixed. It was leftover references to stuff that Diogaoo changed/removed. There are probably a few more we have to find too, I'll try to comb out the rest before they get stumbled upon. More content on the way soon too.

Is there a way to have access to the photos of the different tavern job? and what about the corruption/addictions related images when you wake up?

I got cursed during a fight and ran. Now I have those curses permanently. Is there a way to get rid of them?
Same here, a really awful way to ruin a run... Anybody got a fix for that or do i gotta try and reach the dev?
Don't think there is a gameplay mechanic to remove them unless they fade over time. If you enabled access to the console you can try using "clear_curses()" or "remove_elite_curses()" to remove curses.

Would an option in the church to pay for curse removal or some other mechanic to remove curses be something people want to see? I could add something like that to our mod.

Finally got around to figuring out something new for our mod. I made a simple auto battle feature for use in any encounter. The toggle sits at the bottom of the screen in the quick menu so you can toggle it on and off whenever you want. Balancing the decision making of the system was a little tricky, but it takes into account most things, including some notable weapon effects and traits. I'll likely tweak it more over time and add other buffs, debuffs, and traits into the decision making. All of the minigames and addiction check menus still require the player to interact with them, but maybe I'll make the minigames automatic at a later time.

I know superstripfight13 was asking about a mechanic like this. This probably isn't quite what you were talking about but it does do the fighting for you.

I am still having to press enter way too many times. I would like to see the battle flow without any input from me. I know your just starting to look at the possibilities but thats where my ultimate idea of this feature is.

That would be cool.

Updated the mod to have a proper auto text forward function. It is adjustable from the options menu and toggleable from the quick menu or options. Auto battle automatically toggles auto forward, but you can toggle it off again if anyone is using auto battle but does not wants to manually click through the text.

Made the stats in auto battle a bit bigger, but running out of screen real estate so I don't think it can get bigger than this. It is roughly the same size as normal on screen text now.

I'll start exploring auto player mechanics for decision making and minigames tomorrow or soon after. At some point I gotta go back and add more Kenzie content I was planning too.

Go to folder where you installed it
Hero Corruption2 - renpy - common
Find file named "00console.rpy" and open it with notepad
There search for " config.console = False " (108 line)
And change False to True, save it.

Once in game and where you set up your stats press Shift+O

point = 500000 Gives you 500000 points (You can add more)

During the game you can use it:
gold = 50000 Gives you 50000 gold
mlust = 5000 Give you 5000 Lust (it can change after sleeping to the default)
mhp = 5000 Give you 5000 Health (it can change after sleeping to the default)

Guessing its because that method just unlocks the console but doesn't set dev mode. Use this method i posted a while back, it gives you access to more stuff anyways. Shift+D opens a dev menu and console should work fine. I think there is even a variable viewer in that menu that will show you what variables you can change.


More credit to Annagrama, they are the one who did basically all of the sandbox and hardmode stuff, I just occasionally fixed some bugs and tinkered with stuff for those modes.

For those looking for cheats, Annagrama's sandbox mode allows you to change a ton of the games mechanics and stats to fit your playstyle (just make yourself undefeatable) or pick the enemies you want to fight directly from a menu at base. You can toggle sandbox mode and the battle selection menu accessibility independently from the pause menu mid-run.

For those who don't want to use mods to cheat, you can also go into \HeroCorruption2-1.85-win\renpy\common\ and find a file called 00library.rpy. Use ctrl+f and search for "developer". You'll find a few lines that look like this:

Replace that if/else statement with these two lines at the bottom, the indentation must match:

This will give you access to the developer menu with shift+d, you can view all the variables and use the console to set them easily with a command like "hp = 200". This allows you to cheat easily, but the sandbox mode in our mod gives you a lot better access to content.

Playing hardmode with the new curses is actually hard now lmao. A bit too hard.
Used to easily finish the game in normal mode but the curses stack so quickly with harsh negatives.
I'd like to see the curses slightly nerfed. Maybe like a fade over time mechanic or using ur AP to reduce it for the day / 3 days or something

So I was messing around with the web version and I stumbled upon the local save data, a quick search in this thread shown that you can edit it to increase max stamina.

Any of you guys knows how to fully decode it?

Where are the local saves stored? Maybe if I take I look at them I could figure out how to edit then

I would have put some of the UI on the right side too but that is where the curse menu button sits if you have curses enabled. I can put a cooldown on potion use and tune when the AI wants to use potions, but the auto player AI needs to rely on potions, it simply isn't smart enough to not use potions lol

Updated the auto player AI to be a bit more careful with potion use. The reason why it kept checking the bag was just because I forgot to fix the lust and hp potions to work properly like the stam ones. Now they should only be used when resources are low and the hp and stam potions will actually work right. Also updated the APK for anyone who wants to use the mods on Android.

For those not liking how difficult curses are, I think Annagrama added the ability to add/remove curses at the church in sandbox mode as well.

How does modding work for this?
Been thinking about generating video loops for the regular enemies, but not sure how hard it is to add video to renpy....

I never enabled curses. Never interested me. and I never used potions, maybe i am in the minority, but i just never did. i battled with as many women as i could handle, and when i finally lost, i cheated. I did the SHIFT + O command to get closer to the skill level of the woman that defeated me.

I would like to see more of Liz from the plains. she looks JUST like my EX and she is FINE!

Heavyweight Women are my thing. would like to see more Thicc Milfs like REI too. and finally Moves....in the future i would like to see more of, Licking of the face and cock, some more facesitting and some legs being wrapped around the hero neck or body. Also Thighjobs would be a nice idea too.
