Don't care if it's AI, as long as it's well made and consistent. The biggest issue this game has is consistency in the art style. I kinda like the newest one, the old ones were kinda meh. But it's in sharp contrast to the beginning of the game.

While I despise AI, I'm willing to make a exception for this game in specific because I'm already invested
However, imo, The current problem isn't the AI art itself, it's both the lack of transparency from the Dev, not disclosing his use of AI when he clearly is, and like you said, the inconsistent drawings that comes with it, sometimes two drawings look like completely different styles even though they were made in the same update
If it really is just art style change, this is the most abrupt and fast art style change I've ever seen, going by just his Patreon posts and the game itself

The gay content is more or less avoidable so it’s whatever for me. It also follows the Japanese trend of “draw a girl and call it a boy” which works for me. As long as I the dev doesn’t go full bara then I’m good.
As for Mars and his ever changing skin tone I have no idea if it’s deliberate or not but it is obvious. I feel like if Nitro wants to cater to that crowd he should make a new character who he can use for that specific content instead of turning Mars into a Chameleon.

The change in artstyle is a shame, I loved the unique pixel-art this game had since there are so few pixel-art games with detail on the market.
The latest images just look too generic for my taste, you can see images that look just like that on any image board.
It completely erases the characters' unique facial features. I don't mind if characters evolve visually, but when it's to make them look more like generic weeb-bait teenager-looking babes, that's extremely disapointing.
Killing a unique feature of your game to replace it with AI-assissted generic art is definitely... a choice :/
I suppose the creator have their reason to do so.
I'm less interested in the project now on my side when it used to be in my Top3 best adult games ever.

Alot of He's playing a caricature of himself or slipping into old habits. Mar's doesn't believe any race is superior and while the story has corruption elements by playing on certain fetishes, Mar's personally doesn't believe in such things. His actions do tend to go against what he really wants, but that's also kinda the tragedy of his character. When he fucked that one warrior lady in front of her little sister it was less to prove that demon's are superior but more to destroy her worldview because it was self-destructive. But once her view collapse, she decided to cling to Mar even after he told her to choose her own path. She didn't follow mars because demons were superior, she followed mar because he was mars(And had the power of a hero, so she couldn't really beat him)
I focus entirely on the characters, the demon race hasn't done shit to nail any impression of superiority.
I might not be getting where you are going, but what I take from the game is that the whole inferior-superior thing between humans and demons doesn't matter. None of them is inherently better than the other. Everyone is just pawns in the goddess games, and the only way to win is to play your own game. You can't beat the gods, but you also don't have to be their slave. Mars has seen the good and the bad of what the world has to offer, both from humans and demons. He gained wisdom from that, but he is a flawed man who has the cards stacked against him. Same for Erin, dude was a rabbit being set to wed a wolf.
I like the game because Mar's isn't some sterotypical bull, and Erin isn't a sterotypical cuck. Their actions and personalities were things predetermined by the world around them. They are actual characters instead of caricatures. Mars and Erin are like two extremes of one another. Mars was raised with cruelty, abuse, and rape from his stepmother. He didn't really get to have a childhood or happy life. He was practically born in the muck. Erin was born with a hyper-loving and coddling mother who spoiled him. He spent a great deal of his life surrounded by people who loved and babied him. He didn't have to work on anything or be confronted with his flaws/harsh realities of the world. The goddess changed her entire script because she to be entertained and felt the original priest(Aith) was too boring. The game is just good because it find myself thinking more about the world and the actions of the characters than I do the porn.
I'd normally never touch any game with ntr because I simply find the fetish not to my taste. I originally only downloaded this game just out of curiosity and was sure it would some slop that I would delete after playing for an hour or so, only to be surprised by the story.
