AI is just another tool that people use to facilitate their vision coming to fruition, but it's a tool very much in it's infancy, not only the tool itself but the people prompting/using it. Just like a painting, drawing or photo (any image if you will), if you don't put any effort into it, the result would be something that can only be considered low quality (I won't enter into the "soul" quality as that's just vague and personal as can be, some people would consider a doodle from a kid soulful, as if you puting in the effort made something automatically soulful).
Over time, the tools will get better, if things continue developping as they currently are, and people will become more proficient with the tool. I do think this will reduce human input, but it's clear that having someone having the ability and willingness to touch up something an AI provided you (as it's almost impossible for the AI to produce exactly what you want) makes a colossal difference, and I think a lot of people get complacent or don't spend enough time checking what they get from AI (it's easier to notice mistakes on something you've built from scratch than reviewing something already done).

If you feel that the old art (images, animations) were the only thing worth supporting (and not the whole package) it's totally fair to not support the creator (and any reason to stop supporting whoever you want is valid, it's your money and the patreon model is exactly that, being a patron, there is no binding contract as if you were buying a product).

I think you need to reevaluate most of your artistic ideals. Because I hate everything you just said to me besides your last paragraph. The fact that you refuse to even acknowledge the beauty of actual art so your fixation with AI holds more weight than it actually does annoys me. Yes, art has soul. There is a reason why hand made copies of paintings will rarely ever be truly indistinguishable from the original. Every single human being moves differently, however slight it is. They view the world differently. The prioritize different compositions. Quite literally: different strokes, for different folks. When people say art has soul, they don't mean that it's "alive". They are acknowledging the truth that you could give a room of forty humans an artistic prompt you will see it done in forty different ways.

This is going to sound cruel. But if you are not talented to bring your artistic vision to life without a machine to make it for you, your vision does not deserve to be created. There is one thing to use modern tools like drawing tablets to streamline the process. At the end of the day the artist still needs to understand: color theory, line art, sketching, anatomy, how to actually use their tool (giggity), space, and however many other artstic concepts and theories that exist. But the person who uses AI? They just need to keep prompt adjusting until it shits out something that looks good and they can do touch ups on. It's disgraceful. You might as well spend the hours of wasted on prompt management and editing to knuckle down and improve your craft.

Let's take this conversation away from art for a moment: Nobody would support modern sports if it truly came out that everyone was using steroids or performance enhancers. Sure, a lot of them do. But no one who religiously watches sports would support a person whose physical ability was nothing without their dope playing on the same field as a natural athlete. So why would you support an artist who is compensating for their lack of ability by using ai? Or even worse: why would you support coroporations who are using AI to make shoddier products all for the sake of maximizing profits? Because that is ultimately where AI art development is going to go. The image generation products people are paying for will be gatekept, put beind steeper pay walls, or even just kept at worse iterations so Corporations get the best product built off the backs of these suckers providing free data. If you care about the future of art, even if you like ai, you should vehemently oppose it until guidelines and laws are put into place that prioritize the people it will steal the art from.

Edit: alright I just noticed you liked my reply. Instead of being a bitch and editing my initial dismissal of your opinion, I'll keep it intact so people can clown on me for refusing to engage with a guy who disagreed, but still gave my post a like. However: I'm only responding to your tl;dr because alot of what you said was straight up bloat and i'm not engaging with it all to make my reply ten paragraphs or whatever.

So: You are firmly stuck in a consumer mindset and i basically hate it. As I said previously if you cannot bring your artistic vision to life i am of the opinon that your art does not deserve to exist. Because it does not matter if you have a low budget. It does not matter if you suck at drawing. or at making dialogue. If someone wants to make a shittyporn game they will knuckle down and fucking make it. THAT is one of the most important distinctions that defines art. The willingness, in the face of your own deffieciencies, to create. What you, or i, or anyone else on f95 feels about any of these games is irrelevant. Because bad art is still art. Bad porn is still art. Because it reflects something the user creates and makes the person experiecning it feel something. Even if f95 user 69 says "damn the art was gross and the writing sucked" that is engaging with the shit ass porn game as art. Objectively speaking. Free yourself from this consumerist mindset bro. Because you say you don't believe these games are art. But i bet dollars to fuckin donuts I could scrub through your post history and find you engaging in artistic criticism on the plethora of games you've played on this site for that nut. You don't need to have any special requirements to do it. You just need an opinion. And everyone has one of those, sadly. This is why I don't like ai art. Because it's making people think they don't or have never cared about art. Which can't be further from the truth.
