i knew the game was turning in terrible direction, this is what happens when dev starts writing content for the sake of wish fulfillment not good of the game. I cant even no longer read any of the dialogue nonsense. In the beginning it was pleasureable to read the dialogues, not its just stinky poop.

Wahhhhh wahhhhhh the game made me see gay things after I explicitly made the options to see them. If only the dev had informed us that there was going to be sex content with the hero as early as page 1 or something. Oh well.

This has been one of my small gripes with the game in the previous update. I haven't played this update yet so I don't know if the trend continues. I had written something lengthy regarding this.

My issue with it came from the violence that was inflicted upon Erin. Not just physical violence, but the circumstances in which he was put in as well. I felt it became more abuse than sexual satisfaction, and that wasn't really my thing.

In previous chapters or scenes, Erin always had control over himself and his surroundings. He willingly participated in any sexual acts, partly because he himself was also a flawed character. Impetuous, emotionally unstable and especially impatient, these characteristics are encountered in young adults a lot, but also in any emotionally immature individuals that you find in professional settings. These characteristics, to me, were a major part of the game, as you are exploiting this as Mars in order to win the game, but you also play a superficial game of manipulation in your head to deprave and debauch characters. I'm not sure how to explain it but its top notch stuff that is very well written.

However, the latter parts of the story have veered too much into scenarios where characters either no longer make a choice to willingly participate, or have too much abuse or violence inflicted upon them without being able to object or resist. The culmination of the pigobi scenes also turned into this type of violence, and those story beats were skipped by me as well. The kicking and choking scenes or Erin, as well as Cecille's physical abuse of him were also off-putting to me, even if the art was very well made.

Again, I had written about this before, so I don't want to reheat an old conversation but I get what you mean.

But now, especially with the latest update, the art has progressed and evolved so much that even those scenes are worth watching. I do wonder if Nitrolith will ever go back and update some of the older cg's.

The CG's in this last update also made me think on how Mars has truly become more demon than human. None of these characters, especially the village folk, would become this depraved and debauched without him. I think at this point, he exudes corruption and perversity without even trying, which is normal as he has taken so much power from both Hellele and Erin.

I don't think Mars deserves a good or neutral ending honestly, even if he himself is trying to rebel against the status quo. Granted, the status quo in this setting was also being corrupted by the major Goddess, but Mars has twisted and caused too much emotional damage in my opinion. He is just so good at deflecting it to other party members and make them fight and hate each other. Very fun to play and experience, but I would really like to also see him get his comeuppance.

EDIT: Played through the update, and got some new lore, changed my mind.

There is a game called 'Shadows of Forbidden Gods' that also explores this theme, minus the +18, where your objective is to corrupt notable characters, nobility and heroes in a fantasy world and usher in an era of darkness and shadows. Something like that, along with a 4x genre, where you can train soldiers, build buildings and corrupt cities/towns would be so good and fun to play. I know that Seeds of Chaos is similar to what I have described, but I don't really enjoy how powerless the MC is written and the situations he is put in, and that game has too many kinks that do not appeal to me.

Got to heavily disagree with you on Mars part. Yes, he has caused a lot of problems,but he was indeed forced into this situation and has to play the cards he has. He is a flawed character who has broken many marriages and ruined many women.

He has actively and genuinely tries to help people and improve their lives for the better, which ironically ends up hurting him because his nature makes women look at their lives and realize how precious a person like Mars is. If mars had a choice, I'm 95% sure he would just live a peaceful life with Vi. Dude was programed from birth to bring as much misery as possible and even though he tries everything to avoid it, it ends up happening anyway because of how he is. He isn't a good person, but he isn't evil either. He doesn't take joy in ruining others' lives and does it more of an instinct or because he tries to break the cycle. People like Mars, regardless of what they do will always be controlled by crazy and twisted women. Some see him as a savior, some see him as a sex object, some see him as a half-blooded mutt. Only VI sees him as he truly is and possibly Elena at the end of the update. The demon king forced him to join the party and the demon queen forced him to become her boyfriend. The goddess forced this whole setting.

Like the cards are stacked against him and I believe anyone else wouldn't be able to accomplish it, but Mars has a chance to. Dude Is already in hell and I honestly wouldn't wish anyone to have to bear the burden of responsibilities he has. I want Mars and the party to have a happy ending, because they are all flawed and parts of their personalities are pretty scummy but they can change for the better. Like all things. That's what Mars journey is all about in the end, to break the cycle and change the world for the better.

I've finished Iris, Aith, Mihra, and Julia's content and finished Cecille's second stage corruption and Erin peep scenes, but there's nothing left to do and there aren't any new characters. Clicking on Gwen just says she's ignoring me and I only see the repeat scenes of Erin fapping to her in the evening. What do I have to do?

did you? if youre stuck on the gwen fapping scene you havent completed the main story until you do seras next corruption, check the guide/faq, it should let you progress some more but im also stuck & trying to figure out how to continue her route

I'm rather conflicted about the newest update. Putting aside my personal preference for main characters over side adventures, the writing has changed and not entirely for the best.

The art has massively improved, that nobody can deny. It's often weird seeing old and good art together, it's interesting how fast Nitro has improved. Alain next to Yvet looks ridiculous. Mars still changes skincolors to give "contrast" but eh. Animations are much better this time around.

But the writing is kind of offputting. This game was gripping at first because it was actually interesting to see Mars quasi-realistically getting into people's minds slowly but surely. The game defied porn logic, it actually took time and effort to bring down character's walls and it happened in a convincing manner.

This update though, everyone who hates us just instantly becomes cock addicted and changes their worldview in a flash because Mars is just that good at fucking apparently. Imagine if Cecille immediately gave up the moment Mars showed his dick. It's so lazy and frankly completely unrelatable that it becomes impossible to suspend your sense of disbelief. Not that you can relate to any of the characters in the series. I use that phrase as in it's difficult to see any of the characters as human in this update. They just become caricaturized, flanderized porn characters again, which is a massive downgrade from where the game started.

Gwyndolin especially was the biggest example of that to me. Her "fall" is unfinished, but what's available still sucks. Elena's latest batch of content is also stretching the scope of her character to tearing. She has a lot of content and a lot of development, yet I still cannot see this Elena from the first Elena that Nitro shows, and that's not just because she wasn't fucked at that point. It's obvious plans for her were changed midway and that change is straining the initial character that was shown. She's so fucking dumb atm and so comically "opposite" of her "original self" in the name of cheap irony I can't take anything about her seriously. Yvet's family furthermore just...kind of sucks. Mars goes and does this family therapy 101 bullshit with the dad and the dad just suddenly thanks Mars for cucking him and...becomes fine with it??? Like sure, the village is full of weirdo fucks and the game states that constantly, but if you're gonna use that as a crux for every stupid 180 in writing that's just shoddy.

I understand that mere NPC characters cannot enjoy the same amount of depth that Cecille, Sera and Erin do and that character development for them needs to happen on a faster pace. But then that just means you have to keep the scope for these NPCs small rather than turn Mars into some actual godlike being who has entire cults around his dick with everyone ever just immediately getting brainwashed from precum. It genuinely makes the story have 0 weight or sense otherwise and it just becomes yet another porn game on the list rather than something special.

i agree partly, i think a big difference is that mars is now a hero and a hero basically has godlike powers as is stated multiple times.

and take gwendolynn for example, since we are playing update to update we finish her corruption in a rapid pace because we are already done with the available story, if you were to start a new game it would be stretched from beginning to end. you wouldnt be able to corrupt her before having broken down cecille and erin and elena, before becoming a hero.

Dev seems like really cool dude, I'm sure that as long he is not convinced that 90% of playerbase want TS/gayshit, he will implement decent hetero route. Maybe not as elaborate as feminisation, but with at least enough unique content to make it worth playing and for story to make sense.

You have to keep in mind that most content in this arc is optional. It's possible to do only the Sera stuff and move the story along.
The Erin femdom stuff isn't necessary at all, and it's for those people that enjoy that kind of thing.

The gender bender option will occur when starting the next and final story arc. That's the normal progression.
Mars chooses Sera or Ceci, then later in the 3rd arc the option to gender bend Erin is introduced.
The femdom route is an alternate route to get there.

I think I said this before but NPC content doesn't make sense for Mars to do, it's just there because the player wants to do it. In the original spec document it was even more explicit than that with the bad end requiring corrupting the NPCs but I changed it in the end.
The NPCs are there to cover a situation/kink for variety's sake, it's up to the player to decide if they want to bother with each one. All of it optional for the story.

Let's think about it another way, if I were to reduce all optional stuff and try to adapt it into a linear story.
I would have Mars going from Ceci to Sera and probably end with Sera. Ignoring the temptation of NPCs and Elena as that stuff is illogical for Mars to do.
