Hi, I'm trying to get the Patching Things Up quest to activate. I have patched things up with Ginger but Frida won't talk to me. It says I need to go to the beach in the morning after several days, which I have for several in game weeks now. I can't get Frida to talk to me in the art club nor can I see her and Ginger training at the beach like the wiki says. There are no in game hints, and it says patching things up with Frida is in to be included despite it being in the wiki already? I am attaching my save if you want to see what I have done and what I need to do.

Edit: I see now, it said I had to go to the beach at 7 but I didn't realize I had to run with Jessie to see it. My bad

Completed all the gala events - because an event with the principal triggered, im stuck in the school, at 2am. unable to leave, because the game insists i see the principal, but its 2am, shes not there
Same here. Doesn't matter who I take to the Gala, I end up in the principals office at 2am and can't leave.

Ya i think its just your standard bug. I took a looksee through the save file to see if i recognized something that might help or get me past it but i didnt see anything. Might just have to wait till next patch.

I found a great bug. If I want to do the Night Out event with Ginger and Sophia again, then after the evening is over I end up in the school, specifically in the principal's office. Sophia comes and wants to see me in her office. But it doesn't work at 2 a.m. Does anyone have a solution as to why this is?

I was somehow able to get past it by loading a save right before you go to sleep and changing clothes to naked, then sleeping.

This was actually a shockingly great game. Like... I was far more impressed than I thought I would be.

RichyCapy Well done. I look forward to further updates!

Two bugs I would like to point out:

1.) Once you gain the ability to "strip" the painting on the second floor of the school, at least in my save, if I click the "Go Downstairs" button on the main hallway where the Principal's office is, it gives me the MC's dialogue to not touch the painting while people are at school. I have to go to one of the side hallways where the clubs are and click "Go Downstairs" to go back to the first floor. Not the biggest deal; just a tad annoying. At least it has a workaround.

2.) This one is a little bigger: I can't specifically identify what quest it happens on, but basically: When I chose the option to repeat the gala scenes with all the girls available, it sends me into the school on that Saturday night, making me have to walk out of the school (not sure if that's by design). The problem I ran into is I had a Principal quest pop up while I was in there, telling me to go see her in her office. The problem was, it had to be during the day. I ended up getting soft locked in the school because I couldn't leave without seeing the Principal, but because it was Saturday night, her office was empty.

Luckily, I was able to proceed with this quest by changing the time of day variable to an earlier time when school was happening. I was lucky that it worked on a Saturday. Anyways, I was able to complete her quest. But yeah, again, I am not sure the gala scene repeat was supposed to stick me in the school on a weekend night, but it did each time I repeated the event.

I hope these make sense!

Cheers!

Id like to point out that my version of this bug is different. After the gala event MC is visited by the succubus and i make it to the next morning where i get a text from the principle, then after arriving at the school i cant leave etc. ( i can do the next part of the chloe quest while at school but as stated principle loop keeps you there.

how'd you edit the variable? im assuming by opening the console, but like, what specifically did you type?

I use the URM tool. It's way more convenient and easier to use. But you can use the console command option if you'd like.

I changed the "calendar.timeofdaycounter" variable which changes the time of day. So the command in console command would be (without quotation marks):

"calendar.timeofdaycounter = <number>" and by "number" use:

0 = 7:00am
1 = 12:00pm
2 = 4:00pm
3 = 9:00pm
4 = 2:00am

So typing "calendar.timeofdaycounter = 2" will change the time of day for that day to the 4:00pm time frame.

Hope this helps!

The variables in this game can be a little tricky because (and this is likely by design) the dev didn't do most of them in English. They're in either Spanish or Portugese.

i couldnt get the console to open for whatever reason, so i feel like an idiot

And can you clarify what "URM" stands for? Googling it gives a few different results

Sorry. The URM is the Universal Ren'Py mod, listed here in the forums. It's a very useful tool that allows you to edit variables in almost any Ren'Py game. Here is the link:

https://f95zone.to/threads/universal-renpy-mod-urm-2-5-mod-any-renpy-game-yourself.48025/

As far as how to get the console to work, you have to make a change in the "common.rpy" file. There are tons of posts throughout the F95 forums that go into depth on how to do this, so I would take a few minutes to look for it. With the URM, opening the console is no longer necessary, but for the very few Ren'Py games out there where the URM doesn't work, knowing how to use the console is still good to know.

Cheers.
