I just downloaded the Android version but it doesn't leave the home screen, I click on new game several times but nothing changes.
I'm having the same problem it's a partial file missing things I bet
I'm pretty sure that there was a post before yours that has 1.76 version available to DL. Also on their itch.io link in the OP has v1.77-public release out just the patreon hasn't gotten around to being posted here by a hero.

Hey, I've played this game before, and recently I went to redownload it. However, now when I start the game and press new game, the button doesn't do anything. It won't load a save either. Downloading again, deleting files and saves and so on hasn't done anything to help. Anyone had this issue before?
I'm pretty sure that there was this issue discussed before a few pages before your post...I don't recall exactly where with also possible patch fix shared.

So turns out I'm just blind cuz I swear I read through the comments and even google searched f95zone linked comments with this problem, and I couldn't find it. Now I find out it's on literally the previous page. Haven't tried the fix yet, but thanks for pointing it out; wouldn't have looked again...

Hmm... I seem to be having a different issue.
[ext_resource path="res://files/scripts/main_menu.gd" type="Script" id=2] was set by default, but it doesn't work.

Yep looks like it, sadly its not big surprise since game hasbeen going on from 2018.
In my opinion devs should try to aim 2-3 years from start to finnish when devloping game.
If it goes much longer then that most devs seem to lose intrest, time or life situation has changed during that time and game gets abandoned.
