... and yes. Sadly... the Ficcus IS the solution. I'm not even making that up or mocking you about it. That really is the solution. Good eye. I had wanted to have him come out in the morning with your choice of wifu to find the room converted into a jungle but alas... that would have taken way too much time to set up and make look good so I hand waved it with some text. ; ;

I like the setting and some of the dialogue, and I like that your choices seem to matter a lot, but there's this huge gallery of things that I don't want to spend any time to unlock. I did the Tsuki path, enjoyed it, but now I'm done.

Glad you enjoyed it. Please don't confuse "Gallery" unlocks with "Achievement" unlocks though. The gallery is just all the sex scenes so we gooners can goon. Ya know? =P
There were a lot of scenes specific to the captain for chapter two in particular because he is the "Bad Guy", it would feel pretty hollow if he started out nonthreatening. Not to say he's a well written villain, but that's why there are so many scenes with him early on.

No your not supposed to "pretend to be anyone." Your just supposed to make a few choices and watch how it unfolds. Sometimes you will enjoy what happens and sometimes not so much. I think thats the reason people who hate ntr, hate it so much, because they feel like they have to self-insert themselves. You can enjoy a good pornographic story without having to include yourself in it. Its just like watching a movie you can enjoy the characters and story without pretending to be someone in it. By the way the premise your talking about, pretending to be the "Winner" is called Netori its pretty much the opposite of NTR.

I think the problem is that NTR can be the abbreviation for both. (At least, I've seen it used for both, though obviously netorare is the more common one.) Instead, just like the updated site tag, folks really should say netori, netorare, and netorase (although its abbreviation is typically NTS instead).
First time trying the game out but I'm getting constant screen flickering and tearing when playing from the beginning. Anyone else experience this or have a fix?
Edit: Fixed it, and for anyone elses reference I had to change rendering settings. Shift+G into render settings. Set Renderer to ANGLE2. Cap framerate to 30 fps. Not sure if either or both fixed it.

Even Japan uses NTR for the broader collection of types like that. Hell, I see a lot of netorase on Pixiv tagged netorare by those Japanese users, and that's even worse than making NTR a total umbrella, surely at least spelling out netorare should be specific. But it is what it is. At least when someone says netorase or netori those at least seem to be consistent.

It'll continue this chapter, but we're in the middle of recap/expanding on the events from the comic that no body read, so it changes setting and tone a lot. If I'm wise, I'll need to start putting it together some time early next week... so it'll probably be three years. XP

Oh so its not the next chapter yet? I thought I remember you making a comment about Sasa and Tsuki distracting the Captains sons in chapter 5 and this chapter kind of already had the set up for that. I guess I just assumed it was closer then it actually is lol.
No problem. I'm using a 12900K, RTX 4090 on Windows. I think it was a mix of framerate + OLED monitor. Several other games I've had to change the renderer for a flickering effect due to OLED (there's a few interesting threads on the Ren'Py Subreddit for OLED) but this was the first time I've had it tear like that. Its almost like between frames you'd see the image of space and the port used for the initial docking scene.

Ok you got me. Yes. There is an entire half chapter for Ayre and, among others, her mother up now for subscribers. Just finished it last week so all the normal bugs, yes there are worse bugs, haven't been ironed out yet. There are three endings for her mother, one where the Captain is a complete dick and she just leaves (that's not cool maaaan...), one with just the MC and her, and... oh yes. Moth... er "Step-Mother" x "Step-Daughter"... <,<
