Someone could explain me what does it means excatly "Anemo x80"? I get that's the air element, but what exactly asks? I need to have my army with only air element units, i need to have the crystal unlocked(and i don't know how ro do that)? Until i'll get a clear answer, sorry to say i'm stuck right in front of their gates.
PS: finally able to beat Noelle: two squads of shaman thunderchurls solved all the problems. View attachment 4724821
no you absorb elements as you destroy landmarks and by breading the heroines or at least that's what I saw I messed up by corrupting sucrose immediately and have locked myself from finishing monstad.

About combat - and potentially an early game bad habit the game encourages

Basically, early on Catch is the only thing worth doing in combat. Let's look at a standard adventurer - each sub-unit provides 30 health. Your basic do about 12-15 damage with Slam. Thus, it'll take about 2-3 hits to kill each sub-unit. But capturing, when successful, will accomplish the same goal. Thus, as long as capturing has better than 33% odds of success, it's always going to deal more damage. Plus, it'll actually capture the enemy units, thus helping you scale. Of course, Slam is more useful against leader units, due to the ability of the Hilichurl squad to try and capture units when Catch isn't used.
Later, with elemental units vs. knights, the same holds true. Which can cause the player to over-evaluate the usefulness of earth and nature units. I know I tend to use at least 4 of them to guard Windrise.
But, as the game goes on and you need stronger units to face your enemys, those stronger units deal direct damage, instead of having an upgraded Catch ability. And when they do have one, like Dendro Samachurl (Not sure about the others), The ability isn't communicated to the players. In Dendro's case, it seems like the ability allows "entangled" enemies to be captured when dealing damage to them. But, In any case, a players earlier experiences may cause them to miss-evaluate the value of these more powerful units.

Personally, I feel like these two kinds of damage, direct vs. capture, are conflicting. Because a successful capture overrides damage already dealt buy directly lowering a teams max HP, which ignores damage already dealt to the unit. And healing teams can recover KO'd units. But captured units are lost forever. Which means that dealing damage to enemy units? It's not really that fun at the start of the game (It's quite enjoyable latter, once you get really OP teams built). Which I see as a problem. How to fix this? If damage was carried over, and if damaging a team made capturing it's units easier, that would mean both systems would feed into eachother. I think it'd also be neat if team positioning also mattered for capturing. Like if you attack a team from multiple directions, or increasing based on the number of teams with capturing abilities surrounding the target.

Seems, in the end, i have to redo everything from zero, because of those really lowest chances on getting powerful hilichurls. I understand that everything is settled for not make things easy for the players, but it's quite absurd, after almost 120+ turns, to have only 6 SQUADS OF SHAMANS AND BARELY 16 MITACHURLS! Sorry to say it, but the percentages of advanced offsprings is one of the main issues of the game. Hoping in the next updates there will be some sort of fix for this.

What is the "Ley Line Trunk" - and where can I get them? Colonizing Springvale.
I started getting them after tossing girls on the altar to get corrupted. Didn't seem triggered by a specific action though, just X days after corruption I"d get a notice about them.

How do you take over mondstant, I can't take the city because of those eyes and venti
Basically, you need raw strength. Another poster here said he just sent 3 waves of powerful nycto hilichurls, each of them taking out some of the defenders.

Freeze doesn't make the enemy skip a turn, which would be too OP. It is more like to skip about 15% turn (based on cryo res). So if unit is much faster than the next one, it will just unfreeze and move/attack. Being knocked down, pushed or dragged has similar effect.
Fixed. Thank you.

See this time the log is helpful. Some message like this with diona and klee would have saved me some time when I first started to play this game. I kept wondering why I don't have them caught (now I know better, you can't get them)

That brings a question to mind though: Can a heroine accidentally be killed instead of caught? Has that happened to anyone? Like did you fight barbara and you accidentally killed her instead of capture and then you just don't have her for the whole game? Or does "killing" her actually just auto-capture her and you can't miss out on any catch-able-heroines?

If i could add my 2cent to the guide in "Staying out of trouble" part
- Collei spawns only after Amber is defeated. Not a big threat, but worth mentioning. Takes her about 7 turns to reach you
- Noelle spawns after 1st successful attack on Mondstadt. 80% runs are ended at this point. Lore accurate Noelle should make it 99%

Afaik, you cant kill heroines, they get downed for 1turn, and if you dont capture them, they heal themself. But you can kill for example Callioppe and miss resistance training

Correction on Noelle: Noelle spawns if the danger meter (world map, left side bar) is high enough. Has nothing to do with attacking mondstadt. You can just raise that meter by attack anything around mondstadt city and if it is high enough noelle will spawn. As proof see below: This is from my list of heroines and they are listed in the order you captured them. I got Noelle before Barbara (Barbara is first Mondstadt attack)

Gotcha, good to know!
Yeah I know about the special NPCs thing, which is why as soon as I see some enemy I have not seen before I try to capture it. So far the only ones I couldn't capture were the cryo fellflower in dragonspine, boreas and dvalin (not sure if the log said "cannot capture X", but I just imagine it would make no sense to capture them, same with those wind-eye things in Mondstadt's last phase or Venti for that matter - even though he is often in porn as a femboy, this whole game is based around breeding, so he wouldn't make sense to capture)

Thanks for correction. Never actually noticed it, as in my 5th run she always spawned after my first Mondstadt attack

Small hint if someone plans playing on Hell - Auto resolve battles can win you unwinnable fights
2 examples i use auto resolve
- 1 adventurer squad (10str) vs 1 hilichurl squad (12str)- normal combat you lose, no question asked, but auto resolve wins it
- 1 knight squad (50str) vs 5 hilichurl squad (60str) - normal combat you most likely lose, auto resolve wins it at the price of 4 squads

Well this game genuinely has amazing potential. I finished a run (to the end of current content) on Easy, I doubt I'll bother with hard or hell until the game is more fleshed out. The game desperately needs to explain its mechanics. Even after a full playthrough on Easy I still don't know practically anything about how the Altar works, when you should do what to which girl, what's optimal, etc. It also took me forever to realize that you don't get any item to break Lumine, you just need to very painstakingly only spend like 20 turns torturing her until she's broken enough to place on the Altar. Kind of crazy.

Anyway hope the dev actually works on it, this game could be really excellent. Explain mechanics, add more scenes (esp animated), and some QoL stuff that I've already seen other people mention. So, good start, and good luck dev.

are these all the troops that can be obtained in this version?
I went through about 300 turns to get a lot of units without using CE, then used it to increase the number units that were previously only under 15 units for lawachurl (T4) electro, dendro, cryo, geo and nycto

I think that would be all of them. Do you remember how you got the Nycto Mitachurl (bottom row, second from left). I thought it would just be any corrupted girl and any mitachurl, but that doesn't result in it for me. Is it only with Lumine?
Edit: So far I only have all Mondstadt region girls (except Jean), did I corrupt one of them too early and miss out? Or do Liyue girls give these units?
