Holy Mother of RNG. Got attacked by a Cicin mage at week 6

No offense to the dev or anyone but is the game safe/virus free? Asking bc the microsoft defender get activeted every time I try to run it witch worries me bc last time it happened my last pc lost all its memory with antivirus being useful as a chain fork and needed to be completely reset also the exe file is to big to go through virus total.

I use Bitdefender, and I never get notified about viruses or anything. Windows Defender has a habit of claiming that too many things may have a virus when, in reality, they are clean. i would suggest checking out Bitdefender it may not be free, but it has kept my PCs and mobile devices protected ever since I started using it, which was more than 10 years ago.

Thats the plan, but the problem is Noelle is a TANK that bonks me with nuclear weapons, so i need to prepare an army that i cant prepare due to starvation. Remember, its on HELL difficulty, so Noelle is even stronger



I tried, but the problem is the same, research need 100+ hilichurl and specific 30 slaves that i need to farm for 10+ weeks, which generate me another 1000 hilichurl that i cant feed

What I've found works for noelle (granted on normal rather than hell) is using a position strategy to pin her against one of the indented hexes on the map, so there are only 3 hexes for her to go through. Put one of the horned hilichurls on each side of her, and one with push back two hexes out to knock her back if she tries to escape. Like that she can only cleave one stack at a time limiting her hp. Then just use different ele hilichurl archers with slime companions (slimes let them attack twice from range 3, and seem to do more damage in general). If you can keep her from cleaving your dps and just refresh shields whenever they break on the big guys you can eventually whittle her down, just make sure you have at least one upgrade on hp, defense, and attack.

simple question, how does the game calculate the number of births each turn? do girls still give birth if i've put them to work generating minerals or food?

So it seems like there are two separate birth calculations, there is the captured heroines which you can control, and the generic girls which you cannot. As far as I can tell generic girls will continue to get pregnant whether they are working in the mines or not, the only reason not to have them in there is if you are trying to save up a specific type in order to hit a training upgrade goal. (which means early game you want to crank up that resource production like crazy until you get a trainer, otherwise they aren't helping at all)

Now that I reached the threat to see Elite adventurer on hard mode I can tell, 70 HP points recovery is too much to clean with a army of Elemental hilichurls (unless you go power rangers and even so you can get a bad initiative and your archer who can break the shield is the last one) as the elemental shield is random from what I saw then you are one bad RNG to get no element to bypass the shield, besides if you "Ambush" a enemy it have the opposite effect and you are the one trapped, as you don't choose where a troop starts so the chances of one of your archers is almost sniffing a enemy is high and as take something like 2 or 3 enemy turns for a army of Hilichurls cross the map, if you get a bad RNG in the start when you truly engage the fight will be with one army less. The strategy I've found was lock her in a corner and slap her without knockback (She can scape the circle if you do).

As for beating them with just Elementals? It's actually relatively doable. You just need a squad of 4-6 of the Dendro/Geo ones. Since those guys deploy their own barrier, they'll be able to tank hits a lot better. Support them with 2 other elemental and it's really easy to just beat the elite adventurers down.

No notes, but I saw more then once a single attack break a shield,as I don't beat noelle yet I'm lacking Geo characters so time to wait Collei for recover and breed more.

Easy: First thing, you only need to worry about Lumine. Every 20.th day she will come and kill your units so prepare 8 max unit basic hilichurl for her and she will escape while the hilichurls just doing "capture" attack.
Second thing. If you defeat Klee, you are doomed if you not played the game like you supposed to do "strategically", so don't defeat klee if you have no corrupt hilichurls or mutachirls.


So basically you just need to corrupt 1-3 girl and get corrupted hilichurls (At the start you can get mutachirls if their vision is still good, but if you corrupt them or lower their resistance too low, they will not provide mutachirls because they will be weekened in the breeding (Not every character))


For Lumine: you need minimum 5-6 Corrupted hilichurl party and they will capture it for you and the problem is solved.
For Alice (After klee is defeated): you need 4-5 muthachirl party, and a corrupted girl party (Collei is carrying the game so far, available at low party camps, so ambush her if she attack a 2-3 hilichurl based camp)

Ambush: you need to capture the Dragonspine Camp with 2 hilichurl, after that you need to get 6-8 hilichurl at the Forgotten Sword Cemetry. Colei will come and try to attack DS Camp and you just wipe her with the help of the FS Cemetry units.


The game is very easy if you learn it how to play and how it's works. Sadly the gameplay is about 2-3 hour to conquer the whole map.

Edit: Don't go near klee territory and she will be not appear and that territory not even attacking you. So don't bother the 3 territory on the top if you have no unit's to defeat the lore accurate Alice.
Edit 2: If someone not know this trick, you can cancel units. If you want to abandon a unit, get the unit back to your base, go for the TEAM, pick the unit, 2x click the BACK, then DISMISS.

To those that have beaten the game so far, what are your strategies on Mondstadt phase 4? I know the power isn't necessarily to be trusted (your number can be lower and you can still easily win), but that difference seems a bit too much for me.
I got all these heroines plus Lisa and Mona (currently use those for breeding, but can just give them masks and send them out)
Just got Eula and Sucrose trying with them 2 instead of Amber and Fischl

And to edit: Yeah I use CE to get resources fast, I don't like grinding that much.

I added a table of reactions to the guide in my signature. It might help.
Basically, if two elements react, there is a high chance reacting with the shield would break the shield.

It's actually worse in Genshin Impact, because Abyss Mages and Fatui Skirmishers both have elemental shields, but only one element is best at breaking them. And it's a different element for Abyss and Fatui! And your party can have only 4 elements out of 7. So you often have to brute-force Abyss Mages, and rush the Fatui before they activate the shields.

Just so we're clear - no, this game is not easy at all. It is kind of self-balancing: if you're strong, you attack until the game starts kicking your ass. Then you need to fall back and regroup. Doesn't matter if your strength comes from easy difficulty, mastery of the elements, or breeding the biggest hilichurls.
But the worst part is, random revenge attacks, which don't care for this kind of balance.

jeah,...can only say this,...was a great game,...and when you dont read the help from other you must start again and again (and then look at what other say.....)...

.....the games makes fun,....was a great moment,.....but mybee i was to drunk,....when i see 3 to 5 difficulties on a game....and i vote for the "EASY" one,...i dont will have a figth with other when i say the "Easy" one was way to difficult......for example i start a varios times....goes for round 100.....but for me i think i was doing great....

I'd say use Hu tao. she can make the fight trivial. she become invicible and get incredible strenght once her invicibility hit. Use her in a army and kill some civilians with her if there's no one to hit so you can get the burst as early as possible and once you get the invicibily you can wipe them all if they are grouped with the burst with luck.

How do you capture Hu Tao?

To capture her just have like a couple of team I don't remember what I had but once her invicibility hit try to separate your team and go in corner to wait it out (should be useful to ambush her). A special hilichurl (the yellow one) should help alot as their burst makes it impossible for her to retreat.

Freeze doesn't make the enemy skip a turn, which would be too OP. It is more like to skip about 15% turn (based on cryo res). So if unit is much faster than the next one, it will just unfreeze and move/attack. Being knocked down, pushed or dragged has similar effect.

I didn't use any corrupted girls except for Fischl and she wasn't deployed in mondstadt because I figured she would just die. Instead i just sent in three waves of Noctyl with crossbow backup groups. The first wave killed the orbs. The second wave killed Venti and the third wave took out the knights and Jean. Honest once you get Geo and Nocyl Mitachurls the game becomes really easy since you can combine the two to make a super shielded high melee dmg group that can't really be beaten by anything else.
