I had a pretty good run yesterday. Left the statues and trees alone so I just have some time to farm and build up units and slowly work my way through the map. Then I ran out of abyss power and it had like 0-5 per day I could use for anything so I figured it's time to destroy the trees and statues to get more.
Well cue Noelle who then spawned, made a b-line to the main base and absolutely destroyed me lol

This is a temporary patch which will fix the problem that sometimes dismissing girls may cause they vanish. Unzip and put it in "C:\Users\[your username]\AppData\Roaming\Godot\app_userdata\Hilichurl's Yabou" will prevent vanishing. I don't have time to test it fully, and the team building code was written months ago and thus it is almost unreadable now, so it is possible if this patch causes even more bugs...
If you're not sure what is causing it can you add a debug button that lets you mark a girl as killed so you can revive her at the altar? I would like to have full roster in my complete save.

Ensure you have a value greater than 3. Set your cheat engine search value type to "all".
View attachment 4717482

Then search for the value you see and then do something that changes the value. Search again. Change the value. Search again until you have only the item remaining that matches the value you see on screen (should take about 3-4 attempts). Double click to add the value to your modify table and then click on that to change its value to whatever you want. For troops I recommend setting them to 100,200 or 300. Bear in mind that if you quit the game you will have to repeat this process so keep counts of things that are easily lost (i.e prisoners. troops) at high numbers so you can quickly use search engine to find it again and bump it back up.

Process for finding values (Easier if the number is greater than 3. Borderline impossible if the number is 1):
Troops - Just create a team and search the value each time you add or remove a troop. Don't go nuts here or you will run out of food.
Prisoners - Go to the altar and feed prisoners to the altar by clicking the flame at the bottom left and then clicking prisoners. Do a search before and after you feed a prisoner to the altar
Food and ore - Just search everytime you pass a turn and the number of resources changes
Thank you! That worked. At first I didn't find any results after changing the value (still had 0 results), but then I tried hitting "Next search" AFTER I hit the hourglass icon and a week in-game was over. That then helped me find the value. At least it was that way for iron and food. I tried it with the Adventurer NPC and there I found the value right after it changed, didn't have to advance to the next week.

Theofrad Quick QoL suggestion: On the Mine/Farm in the main base, could you add a "Max" option like you did when making combat units? That way the player can add more units to those places faster.
Like you click on Adventurer or Villager and then there is a Max option and that would then add the maximum amount of units you can add from that type of NPC, either until the upper cap for the location is reached or until you are out of those units. Maybe even add a confirm button, so someone doesn't accidentally lose 20 units by a misclick.

This is my review:

"Ok, here's the thing:

The game itself is good, but has a large room for improvements.

First of all, the mining/gathering part: needs, first things first, a better tutorial/instructions of how it works exactly.
Second, the unit improvements: i'm still trying to understand how it works exactly, what kind of benefits i can unlock, and if the supposed upgrades are applied for the already existing units as well.
Third: a bit more of english localization could be ok, in order to, at least, compensate for the lacking of tutorials.
Fourth: the battle/progression system. It's an endless war of attrition, where you can't get an upper hand unless you have litterally a moltitude of units, and the supply routes are easily blocked every time.
Could be great, for the next updates, to have the chance to establish advanced outposts, in order to make a bit easy to reinforce the advanced units, and keep pushing the advance of your units. Would be great to see a sort of strategy chart, in order to know which objectives could at least weak the region you're attacking, in order to have a fast or at least not so much depleting progression from your side.

In general, the game is a solid 7, but with really lot of room for improvements."

Yeah so for the life of me I cannot seem to figure out how to use the clunky interface to reinforce units. I eventually figured out how to make new unit swarms, but there doesn't seem to be a way to return existing combat units to the starter base in order to reinforce them. Let me know if I"ve just missed something blatently obvious, but doesn't seem like good design to always have damage be unrepairable to your fighting troops.

So you can click on the unit icon on the map, from there you can see to which areas you can move the unit to (without attacking or anything), then you need to move the unit back to main base. Most of the time you can move a unit 1 or 2 times per week. So yeah if they are pretty far away from base it would take forever. There you then can click on teams and on the unit you want to reinforce. If you keep clicking back you can dismantle the unit and even get iron back from that.
Could potentially also work with that teleport branch thing you can make for 500 abyssal power on the altar (haven't tried that out myself yet).

I really wish there was an auto-reinforce feature, I keep thinking that there has to be a better way than spending one AP per unit to reinforce them.

As for reinforcing in the field, you either need to move your army back to a colony, or use one of the craftable items. The wedge let's you reinforce, the branch lets you create new armies.

Do the will of the Abyss. Destroy the statues of Celestia's lap-dogs. Cut down the trees that uphold the world's barrier.

A dark wedge can be used to teleport reinforcement troops to existing teams. The branch is used to teleport a new team to a given area you currently occupy (1 AP used per team created just like at your main base). There isn't any reason to have the altar be idle so always be making wedges and branches. Also important to note the readme states the costs ramp up... I've not seen them ramp up.

There is a way for my characters recover their elements? And how can I defeat mona?
Mona goes invisible and then runs for a border of the combat area. Simply try to guess where she is and move units to her tile. It's easier with mitachurls because they move faster than everyone else. Once you've found her just hose her down like most of the other girls.

Well, looks like I have to start over then because I only have two of those type of units.
Klee is the the uncapturable girl. Alice is the one that attacks your base after you've taken down Klee. Alice will always dip after 3-4 turns of bombing you (assuming you have the latest version currently available, if not then you are screwed as Alice won't run). So you can always just spam regular dudes as meatshields and let her have her bombing spree until you have a proper army.
