Hey guys, It won't let me corrupt a heroine. I drag and drop her onto the mantle, but it sends her right back! Am I missing somthing?
when you create items on the altar, you cant take a heroine on to corrupt, close the other, attach the heroine, and after corruptinkg, take the item part for start again

Enjoying this a lot so far, so thanks to the dev. The only major complaint I have at the moment is that some of the unit numbers are too hard to read. I haven't unlocked a lot of units types yet, but so far I'm struggling to read the ones below with dark purple and dark green. Maybe adjust the display so there's no overlap between unit icons and unit counts?

That actually helped me too lol. Thanks!

First, drag-and-dropping heroines works unreliably, so you may have just missed.
Second, if she is pregnant, you can't start corrupting her until she gives birth.

In addition to what flannan's said, I've found the drag-n-drop to be a little finicky at times. If your still having issues with a valid target, try dropping them a bit lower down on the alter. Just overlapping the heroine with the alter doesn't always register what you're trying to do.

A trick to that when you are trying to move girls is to look for highlighting. The altar doesn't do it, but all those little chains on the ground will light up if you are able to move a girl there, no light up = no movement.

Could I suggest implementing hotkeys for combat (and later down the line other actions?)

I know that 'space' activates auto combat, though I mostly abuse it to end turn. Maybe the unit that can act should be able to via (subject to change):

q:upper left action (i.e. the buttons that appear when you click on the unit whose turn it currently is), e:upper right, a:lower left, d:lower right, w:select movement (and then you use mouse to decide where) and finally s or space to wait. This would make it much easier to play.

My gripes. (Don't let the long list convince you otherwise, I really do like this game despite all that.)
  1. Food upkeep caps your stuff. There's no way to permanently increase it past a certain point, since there's only so much territory to hold, and slaves in the farms dies out too quickly.
  2. Slaves for upgrades is also somewhat of a pain, in that the slave income doesn't increase much and again, they die out too quickly, so it's hard to get enough slaves to train a high-ish leveled upgrade.
  3. Unit control is a bit clunky. When you mouse over a unit, the options has a slight delay of popping up, but clicking before it pops up disables the options for when they do pop up, so you have to move your mouse away and back to the unit, wait through the delay again, then click. I'd say automatically have the unit selected so you only need to click the ground to move, or click an action then a target, without having to mouse over first.
  4. Also space bar to end turn would help a lot. Mouse control without keyboard is always clunky when you have to move your mouse from the unit to the bottom right corner after every unit's turn.
  5. Multi-selection on map (preferably with shift) so you can move a bunch of units at once, instead of having to move them one by one.
  6. Information access. This is the most important imo. For the map: You should be able to see how much followers are left in the group, how many moves the groups can still move, and what followers the group has (hilichurl/slime/spectre) without having to click on a settlement.
  7. For the base: Unit's food upkeep, slave income in terms of specific slaves, stamina of heroines without having to click them individually, farm/mine population without having to click on them.
  8. For combat: enemy name (Once in battle you can't see the name of the enemy, and that makes it hard to know whether the unit that looks like a bog standard elite knight is a trainer or just an elite knight), enemy skill description, how much hp is followers and how much is the commander's hp, movement, and hp of followers (the hp bar only shows commander's hp).
  9. Capture info: unique captureable units needs more highlights, both in and out of combat. Capture rate when you use hilichurls or the capture move needs to have some indication, and you the capture chance for followers should be a lot higher, you shouldn't kill them that often.
Notice that my gripe's all about small-ish details. The core of the game is great, so even if none of my gripes gets fixed I still like the game well enough. So...keep up the good work, these are just suggsetions in case you run out of ideas.
