I you mean the salt archon, I used a flying unit to get her (and a save right before the fight) :
I'm not sure if someone already adressed this, but having to start over because safefiles aren't compatible is a bit of pain. Especially if you made so much progress like settling in in captured areas and having captured almost if not all girls available. It's up to you if you want to fix that. And don't get me wrong: every playthrough goes a little differently than the one before that, but not everyone is waiting to start all over again. especially with other nations still coming up. ultimately it's your decision. I just wanted to point it out.
the problem is my units literally cant get close enough to her to do any action on her since she hits us and moves to a corner of the map before we have an action, i have two unusual hilichurls and 5 different Samachurls (2 of which are hydro)
i'll give it a try but my units are mostly dead by the time they can spread out enough to cover any real ground

Meh, I prefer Theofrad to focus on improving the game instead of wasting time trying to preserve save files.
If you have a save that's far enough back, you can move your units to an area beside the place that's about to be attacked and have them move into the area. That'll put them on the opposite side of the board and have the attacker in the middle.
Inazuma is the electric one (that is currently in development in Hilichurls' Ambition).
