How to solve the problem of food shortage in late game? I am trying to use different advanced troops, but food is too scarce. My food reserves are constantly decreasing, and I am less than one tenth of the number of advanced troops I need. Is food production in game too low?

What's the best approach to capturing Lumine? Is it possible to do before the triple stat increase occurs?
It is very possible to capture her on week 40. It might be possible to go earlier, but I don't think you can get a Cryo Samachurl before week 20. A Dendro Samachurl, Cryo Samachurl, and 6 Nycto Hilichurls make quick work of her. Dendro mines the field, preventing her from aproaching your forces and building up her elemental guage. Cryo pillars the Dendro and Nycto, improving their damage and extending their range. Nycto bring the pain.

Key characters to capture for this strategy;
Patchi - Adventurers for Shielded Hilichurl - Civilian at Thousand Winds Temple
Anna - Adventurers for Archer Hilichurl - Mondstadt Boss at 20 Threat
Dr. Livingstone - Scholars for Dendro Samachurl - Civilian at Windrise
Esther - Scholars and Cryo Hilichurl for Cryo Samachurl - Civilian at Dragonspine Camp

Amber - Pyro Hilichurl production - Mondstadt boss at 50 threat
Rosaria - Cyro Hilichurl production - Mondstadt boss at 150 threat
Collei - Dendro Hilichurl production - Starts approaching after Amber defeat.
Barbara - Nycto Hilichurl production - Mondstadt 1
Sucrose - Offspring potion - wanderer hidden at Snow Covered Path

Scholars - Windrise, Thousand Winds Temple, Dragonspine Camp

Falcon Coast - Fischl's hiding place - NOTE: Fischl could be a good target for corruption, but she gets better if you let her escape. So it might be better to ignore her for now, since we won't have a lot of bandwidth for keeping captures.

Basic outline -
The fastest way to get a cryo samachurl is vai Esther's training. That training needs basic cryo hilichurls. To get 20 of those for the initial training, within the 40 week timelimit, we'll need both Anna's training to pull Cryo's, and a Cryo heroine to spawn them. That'd be Rosaria. We could also breed non-cryo heroine's, but you get better results with a Cryo. Since Rosaria is rather powerful, we'll need powerful units to fight her - meaning Dendro/Geo Hilichurls. We can get those from training with Patchi, or via breeding Collei.

Some General fight tips:
Week 1 Lumine; Good practice for positioning. She has no ranged attacks, so if you move just outside of her movement+attack range, she'll only be able to move into range. A round of Attacks+minion captures with all 4 of your units should be enough to capture her.

Amber; Likes to drop her bomb 2 hexes away from her, and between the highest number of units. You can use this to direct where she'll move. Basically, group up your units so there's one good spot to drop the bomb, and she'll move into position for you. Alternatively, I've also seen her just move and shoot on her first turn. If she does that, then you can easily caputure her afterwards without taking any real damage. Otherwise, use the hilichurl charge attack to knock her away from the bomb, then swarm her. If you bring 6+ units, you should be able to capture her on round 2.

Collei; her AI seems to be a bit temperamental, so her behavior is a little inconsistent. She likes to use here AOE attack to hit as many targets as possible, and has a preference to attack the furthest units possible. So if you setup you forces in a triangle formation, one hex between each unit, she'll move next to the center of your formation to attack the center + the backline. She has a really OP area effect burst that will cause a lot of damage if she gets it of, and you can potentially get her to retreat if she takes enough damage. Basic strategy is to use two rows of units in a triangle formation to bait her forward, then charge+swarm to drop her HP enough that she triies to retreat. Failing that, use charge attacks to force her out of the field effect, and keep hitting her till she's down. Try to face her with at least 6 basic Hilichurl. 8 would be better, but she's a tad reluctant to actually attack a force of 8, and you need to bait her into attacking your position at Dragonspine. Alternatively, you might be able to bait her by retreating from Dragonspine, then attacking it when she moves in.

Basic moves:
Week 1 - build another Hilichurl squad, start wedge production
Week 2 - Capture Windrise, Reinforce/replace till you have a squad of 6. Keep up Hilichurl production.
(Capture Anna)
Week 3 - destroy statue to spike threat to spawn Amber. Capture Thousand Winds Temple, retreat main force back to Windrise. Maintain squad of 6, potentialy go up to 8.
(Capture Amber) (Collei starts coming over)
Following weeks - build up squad of 4 to take Dragonspine camp, station 6 there to take Collei when she attacks. Capture as many adventurers as possible, use them to train Cryo and Dendro/Geo Hilichurl with Patchi and Anna training.
Collei should arrive to attack around Week 8-10, letting you start real Dendro hilichurl production.
Once you've got ~4 shielded hilichurl stationed in Windrise, you can attack Mondstadt to get Barbara, and destroy the two trees you can reach to spike threat high enough to spawn Rosaria. You should be able to do this before week 20. Barbara doesn't have enough hydro power to be worthwile, so she's a good target for corruption. Once corrupted, she'll be able to start producing nycto units for you.
Finally, if you need any more units, capturing Rosaria + getting the Crimson Agate should give you enough Cryo to enter the Snow Covered Path. Doing that should spawn Sucrose, and capturing her will let you make her potions. Which will boost the amount of offspring your heroines produce.

Notes on the farm and alter;
Wedges are the most cost effective way of generating abyss power early on. I'd suggest planting 5 of them early on. That won't generate enough threat to be a problem, but will generate a steady trickle of abyss power for you.
Also, you'll want 3-5 slime farms early on. sacrifing 10 nycto slimes generates 1 abyss power. If you've planted the abyss wedges, slime farms will generate nycto slimes. It's not much of an income, but it is a way to generate consistant abyss power without generating threat.

How do I get rid of Sayu permanently?

And there is nothing inside Sangonomiya Shrine? There were only some mob enemies

Finally: Is it currently impossible to 100% conquer the countries or am I just missing something?
Yes, you are missing something. There are a few locations hidden on the map, that count against your conquest total. There's one place hidden in the snowy mountains, and another one on on e of the islands to the north-east of Wangshu Inn. I don't know if there's a hidden area in Inazuma, or where it's located.

I think dungeons also count against your conquest total, and it may not be obvious what locations are actually dungeons. The Chasm's Maw, Sangonomiya Shrine, and Musk Reef are all dungeons.

How to solve the problem of food shortage in late game? I am trying to use different advanced troops, but food is too scarce. My food reserves are constantly decreasing, and I am less than one tenth of the number of advanced troops I need. Is food production in game too low?
As Abyssalfication progresses, your conquered territories and basic farms start producing less food. Late game, the only things that really produce food are your colonies, and abyssal farmland. Once you've conqured Mondstadt, it's probably a good idea to start planting some Ley Line Sprouts, and converting your reguar farms into abyssal farmland. Personally though, I think the only real way to manage all that late game food upkeep costs is to begin sacrificing units in mass. I like to set a "maximumn target" value for my units, then sacrifice them until they are below that value.

So, bit of an explenation about the farm - The amount of food it produces is based on the number of slaves you have working the fields, and the raw food output of the various builidngs you've constructed. Without any slaves, the farm will only produce 5% of it's total output. At 100%, it's going to produce 100%. The exact function is a leniar interpertation between those points. So only 50% slaves is going to produce a bit more than 50%, not 50% exactly. So builidng 2 farms and staffing them with only 10 slaves is still going to produce more food than a single farm, but not that much more. Farm slaves also face a 10% attrition, so you'll lose 10% of them every week. So if you need 200 slaves to maintain the farm, you'll need an income of 20 villagers to fully automate the farm.

Farms produce 200 * (2 - (1+difficulty) *0.5 * mondstadt abyssalfication), and cost 10 slaves
with easy=0, hellichurl=3
easynormalhardhellichurl
0%400400400400
25%375350325300
50%350300250200
75%325250175100
100%3002001000

Abyssal farms produce 300 food, and cost 20 slaves + 50 abyssal power. So they produce 150 food per 10 slaves. Which means that farms are more slave efficent on lower difficulties, but abyssal farms are more space efficient.

Flower fields produce 20 food per flower seed growing in them, and cost 10 slaves. So they could potentially produce 200 food, but only if you are only growing flower seeds, not whopperflowers.

All food production from the above buildings is futher multiplied by your Hydro and Dendro elemental multiplier (1+ resonance/1000, so if resonance = 1000, that's a x2 multiplier). this modifier is multiplicative, not additive. so x1.1 for both is x1.21.

Finally, empty farm tiles produce a base 2 food, unmodified by elemental resonance and % of slaves. So at the start of the game, you'll be producing a flat 60 food from your farm. As you replace those tiles with other buildings, this total will decrease.

I've progressed quite a bit in this run, but I think I've hit a game breaking bug. My hilichurl production is about 80/day even though it says I'm producing more like 800 and my ore production is even worse off saying I produce thousands, yet it's stuck at zero making it impossible to produce new armies. Any known causes/fixes?

Did you accidentally capture a kairagi unit? They are found on the island next to Inazuma, and may swim/run over from Kujou if you hold Konda. Kinda like a full armored dark knight accompanied by some ninja like minions. That unit is not supposed to be capturable yet, so it causes alot of bugs. They also dont have an image, just a ? in a circle when captured in the loot section of the battle report.
I dont think there is any way to get rid of them if you already captured some, the other prisoners can be sacrificed at the altar to be rid of them if you so wish, but they are better consumed during training. The most recent version 1227 comes with patches to remove any captured ones on end turn, and renders the others uncapturable.
If not you probly have to start over. Cheat engine can help get the numbers back up if you are so inclined.

Heres what they look like. Dont ever capture any of them, kill them. They are not used in any training anyway.

I have conquered almost all cities, but I still have many characters to unlock. Can someone tell me where they are?
I also captured many Xia Adept, but I have no trainning program to consume them. Did I miss a certain training NPC? How can I get her?

2.7 to 2.9 are ningguang's secretaries, you probably killed them
3.5 to 3.8 are sumeru teasers not in game yet
3.9 is a futui spy she was in the Inazuma city or yae's shrine, you probably killed her
3.12 is on alice's island, you probably killed her
4.4 is on the chasm final floor
4.5 is on Kokomi's? shrines final floor
BTW the abyss is also enterable and you get an item to corrupt Lumine
BTW2 this is no longer the newest version, a newer version has 2 more heroines and 2 more NPCs

Just noticed, but Fischl's second form has an elemental core. A little annoying on one hand - 80 resistance means she's one of the most powerful electro heroines you can get, but she just takes too many resources to recover, and I'm not going to do that unless she can be brainwashed. And while normal masks are a lot easier to get in this version, I still haven't found the upgraded version you need to brainwash heroines with cores. So into the grinder she goes, replacing that elemental core will make her an excellent Nycto breeder.

I already got them on dragonspine, sal terral, the two inazuma spots. I did the chasm twice, I did sangonomiya (there is nothing there as far as I see), and the abyss once.

there're three spots in inazuma and there's an NPC in sangonomiya ( she's half vishap so it's kinda hard too see her)
the spots:
1: bird girl is in the middle of the south west island
2: shrine girl is in the south east island ( click left to the village)
3: white hair girl is almost in the same place as the fatui factory

Yes, I meant three. And I mean those three already.

How do you get rid of villagers by sacrificing? I can only do that to my own units.

Small suggestion - but can the treasure horder's ability be reworked a bit? It's very annoying to not be able to actually... do anything while the field is obscured, and if you get multiple (3-4), they can actually even obscure the UI entirely. Plus, if they die before their next turn, the effect doesn't stop. I think it'd just be better if the move made them invisible, or maybe only effecting a small region of the field (2-3 hex radius?). Or, maybe it should be on a layer lower than the UI and your units, but above the field or enemies? That way you can still play the game, instead of just turning on autobattle until the effect ends.

Also... apparently how resistance is determined has changed. Now resistance is Stars*10. And guess what? Breaking visions/cores reduces a heroines stars directly. Specifically, breaking a vision reduces it by 1, core by 3. And repairing a core? Only recovers 1 star. So... breaking elemental cores does not actually increase a heroines elemental resonance now. Unless they happen to have 14 or more stars, then the math works out that the +5 base elemental resonance they get is enough to result in a net gain, even with losing 30 resistance.

I'm a tad annoyed that breaking the elemental cores to get better nycto breeders has been patched... but I do like the potential of the new system. I do want to make the suggestion that there be a way to upgrade elemental cores to the abyss heart in the future, however. Just feels a bit thematic to me. And would be a nice buff to some characters.

Why would you want to get rid of them? They work the farms and mine, where they have to be replaced, and are consumed during num up training, which 2 special npc provide.

If you really want to get rid of them or other prisoners, enter the altar, click the purple flame at the bottom left corner.
1755739624631.png

Which will bring up a list of prisoners
1755739652465.png
Click on whomever you want to be rid of. You cant get rid of Kairagi cause they dont show up in the list for whatever reason. They are not supposed to be captured anyway.
