Does anyone know if the abyssal power spent on potions permanently gone or is it returned to you at the end of its duration? It fluctuates so much between turns I haven’t been able to tell
does anyone have a full list of the methods to amass elemental energy? i feel like i'm missing something.

Hahaha, i agree with you too actually, a h-scene skip switch might be nice. (more variety of monsters that can bang too pls)
Abyss Power is an Upkeep, the one on the Left, it should not exceed Total Abyss Power on the Right or you lose the game.
You get more Total Abyss Power from destroying statues, some bosses and if you build Abyss Trees on the Farm you are going to get a permanent increase of Total Abyss Power at the cost of Threat.
What raises the Upkeep is capturing more heroines, especially if they are not corrupted or masked and have high resistance.
Some building upgrades in your based is a permanent increase of Upkeep, like the brothel ship has 1000 Cost that could lose you the game, there isn't a way currently to deconstruct upgrades.
In the case of potions it is a temporary increase while it is active.
You basically need to farm with Abyss Trees if you want to afford the upgrades.
Mostly from bosses of that type like the big monsters.
You also get some when you first capture a main heroine.
Some generic enemy units are also elemental that gives that if you defeat them, like the ceiro? ones or something. So you can hunt and farm those if you need a particular element.
You also get 1 elemental power per turn in the teapot.
You also get elemental power from corrupting or breaking them but that shouldn't always be used.
There are also elemental trees but those are difficult to get outside of the Anemo one.

Iam at a loss. Where can i get the whopperflowers? ive searched everywhere. is it a hidden boss?
Kill the whopper flower in the mountains. I think you need 60 ice element to get to it. Once you kill it, you can use it to get more whopper flower seeds.

Portals of Phereon has similar breeding and combat system but it's actually much more challenging and in-depth then this game.
