I do hope that she becomes more mature. At the moment, Emma feels like a 13-year-old girl to me. She as LI feels wrong to me on so many levels. But that's me. However, I always believed there would be something more in the character development. After all, her childish demeanor may be due to her mother's cluckish behavior. At the latest after the traumatizing experience with her killed crush, the “grow up overnight” effect can of course occur. Then it would fit again.
Yea, that's one of of the thing that bugs me about this VN too. She's a 13 year old stuck in an 18 year old body. Her behavior is literally middle school or even elementary school maturity. I mean over here, we get guys as young as 16.5 years old serving their obligatory military service. And mind you women supposedly mature earlier/faster. I get it's due to the coddling by Charlotte but her case is extreme and feels more like a mental/intellectual disability. But yea, i just can't see her as an LI. She fits more as the daughter character.

Suzi though is perfect as an LI but i wonder how she gonna fit into the relationship dynamics. I believe Charlotte is the default unavoidable LI. So we getting throuples?

suzie and hannah maybe once-few times but otherwise no. no lloyd-lloyd sex until mc becomes lloyd.

The dev has said there will be no incest, so that would rule out throuples with the three main LIs. And the dynamic of the three of them do not lend well to sharing. They've also said it won't be a harem, as again it doesn't fit the dynamics of the family.

You saw what Suzi did when he moved into her room at the house, can you imagine what she'd do to the MC if he stepped out on her?

And Charlotte's personality and past traumas would not lend well to sharing, either when trust is such a big thing of hers.

The fact the MC isn't some creep who spies on women or tries to molest them like in so many games makes Hillside so much better.

It's also part of why I find Emma as a potential LI so interesting. The dynamic between them and the reactions from Charlotte, Suzi & Lucy are things I'm really looking forward to seeing.
MC and Emma are kinda like a modern day probably happy ending Leon and Mathilda from The Professional.

except Emma isn't like 12 years old here :KEK:
yes, but lets not forget, Mathilda crushed on Leon. He just saw someone in pain that he recognized, and understood the need for revenge in Mathilda, and after not being able to kill her in her sleep he made her his protege, not his sex doll like people for some reason think the movie was about.

So Emma can get her happy ending with her killer crush.

Mathilda was also a lot more emotionally mature and strong than Emma, despite, or maybe because of, her trauma.

So it's a Charlotte only ending unless there's a chapter later on that lets you break off with Charlotte and pursuit other LIs instead?

where did he say that? Just no. You can have a proper relationship with each of the Lloyd women (on separate saves, no harem here). But so far only Lucy and Charlotte have an actual route, Emma and Suzie are just starting out (even then, Charlotte route will be the most complicated to complete with her trauma, the rest will go faster)

I wrote a post recently explaining Emma's character:

Charlotte is designed to be the most suited to the MC and the one he is truly meant to be with, but there is no unavoidable 'default' option. Each of the love interests (the four Lloyds) must be actively chosen, and their relationships are exclusive.

Thx for the insight. More or less understand the approach with Emma's character.
Also all Lloyds route available is a thumbs up for me. Majority of the content had been for Charlotte so it felt like she's the only end game girl and the rest were flings like Kayla(i guess Kayla will be getting her own route too) and Lucy. Looking forward to the other routes.

Kaylah is a side girl, so no full route for her. Same for Agent Fox. Only the Lloyds have a full route.

'Truly meant to be with'? Honestly I don't like the sound of that, it makes it sound like the game has a canon path.
The romance with each love interest loosely follows a different romantic trope. Charlotte's romance follows a 'fated lovers' or 'destined love' trope, meaning she and the MC are 'meant to be together,' and their characters and backstories reflect that. However, you are not forced into a relationship with her.

In contrast, Emma and the MC follow a 'forbidden love' trope - they are definitely not meant to be together, but they can still pursue a romance.

Each romance is unique and offers something different. I didn’t mean to imply that one is more important than the others.

It was more that you said meant. I don't really like when devs tell me who I should romance or who is the most important, otherwise I'd read a kinetic novel, but I'll never touch one of those.

So Suzi is the "I'll break your kneecaps if you even think of looking at another woman" trope?
