I do believe you posted on the wrong forum man. This is a dude protagonist. So much of the disharmony in the dialogue is specifically due to his gender=male. I think you must have the wrong game.

I hope the relationship with Emma stays platonic (or, since I'm sure some people want to pursue Emma, a romantic relationship is completely optional). I get more of a father/daughter vibe between MC and Emma so it would be creepy to me if it was forcibly escalated to something else... Also, I get that the mom (blanking on her name) is traumatized but holy shit she was getting on my nerves. Like, sis, you have hella money. Get a fucking therapist.
