Sorry v0.8 still hasn't been released and I apologize for being quiet today.
Clearly things aren't working well at present and I need to change the way I do things.
V0.8 needs some work still. I will release it on Saturday 6th March.
After that I won't be setting release dates. I will start giving more detailed development updates and release things when they're ready.

As for the delay, at least this upcoming Saturday there is nothing of importance announced yet, so it won't compete for attention. Roughly one week after would be the latest installment of WVM.

There are always delays no matter if its game related or personal.

He has been consistent through the development of game so I trust that he will deliver another quality update.

The only way to be really sure about fixed dealines/dates is to preproduce content to have a sufficient buffer. Else one is bound to either miss the deadline here and there or having to cut content and release the update anyway.
I'd certainly agree with the new approach. A broad timeframe/estimate and good information do always work well and while some people may not like it, it's essentailly the best approach for everybody.
