Okay, at first i thought the story was developing a little bit too slow, but this update changed that for me, great job. The party scene with Emma was just crazy, that had nothing to do with the MC but i still couldn't help but to feel awful for her. That just shows how great this game is.

Please tell me you haven't installed any mods on a brand new update before any of the mods have been updated?
For what it's worth.. i do feel the glacial pacing improved in this episode, things happened, not a whole lot but something.seems so. some will call this a slow burner, i prefer to think of it as a 'not even had the gas connected yet and has anyone seen the matches?'

Yeah, I really like this game but i'm going to leave it for until it's had another chunk of updates.
It does seem to tread water a lot and while I really like nearly all the characters it needs some progression on all fronts.
I'll try again later when, hopefully, it's moved forward some.

I waited for this with so much hope and the writing is great as always, but man NOTHING happens in this update and it was crazy short. Like a 2 or 3 weeks job. Why even bother pushing it out if NOTHING happens?
I like the way characters act and I don't even want the to finally get to it if that would kill the writing, but man it's like this update was some kind of a twisted joke. It hinted at so much and did nothing at all.

Update 25... very optimistic...
Honestly glad Emma saw Zach's true colors and wasn't the one fucked (figuratively or literally) by him. I think this could help move her and MC closer. Very disappointed about the setback with Charlotte, gonna take even longer to break thru with her...
She literally asked him one thing and was pissed again after. How is that progress?
For me the worst part really is how freaking short the game was after all the waiting. How long since the last update? This one felt like a month of work MAYBE. This one was a letdown, since we've continually been making progress but this update seemed like a step back with everyone. I love the slow burn but it seemed to get nearly extinguished.
That why for slow burn games you wait. I played half of A Wife and Mother's first update before putting it on my 'wait till completed list'. Just check in now and again so see if the spicy stuff has started yet.
I truly hope the dev will not put a setback with Emma to by saying "Oh they used... so the other girl was just out of it and no one is to blame" I want this side to just be finished. Maybe having the guy later on trying to do something to Emma so that the MC can kick his ass.

The thing with Charlotte is very disappointing indeed, at one point she was almost ready to tell the MC everything, now just because she heard the MC say Emma's name in his sleep, she goes back to full on suspicious mode. I just hope whatever move Lucy is pulling on both the MC and Charlotte to bring them closer together works. Because if it doesn't, it's gonna take even more time for their relationship to progress.
