One of the best VNs I've played so far.
OUTSTANDING WORK! This was totally engaging storytelling. It was like a good book you can't put down and you suddenly realize you been reading long past regular sleep time!. A great VN.

I am with you on this one, Hillside is the only VN I have ever played where I thought a lot about it after finishing. It feels to me like it could easily be turned into an actual novel, which I think is really hard to pull off

only one route per playthrough, so if you want to be on emmas rout, you cant be on another characters route, like lucy for instance

This is true. Your dialogues with Emma and Charlie are even a little different if you are in a committed relationship with Lucy. I think that this is going to be code kudzu once there is more than one romance path locked in.
Same here. I keep coming back here hoping the next episode has dropped, even though I know it's at least a few weeks away.

My favourite scene so far is when the mc first meets Emma.

I think the dev may have heard it a lot but I wanted to appreciate this work of art. I can't believe this game is so good, I'm sure this game will be treated like a case study by the upcoming devs about what made it what it is lol
The complete game feels amazing, the characters are great with a gripping story, shows a lot of things which can be adopted by both new and existing game devs.
I don't know if there's a slice of life genre, but this games feel like a lot of that and feels realistic which separates it from most other vn games. Some parts of the game are so wholesome, I just love it. I wanted to say a huge thanks to the dev for making this beautiful game.
Also Emma is now my favorite girl from any vn game I have played.
