Is there some reason the old saves can't be converted to the new format?

Can we stop breaking saves so far into the story.
Like maybe if it's version 2 it's fine. But if you know you're gonna rework early scenes rework them earlier and not 5 versions in.
At least give us a save file that allows us to start from the fresh content

Read the changelog, the reason save don't work is the story has be reframed. Plus the game is NOWHERE near "far into the story" as you say. I'd say if this was a 2h movie we'd be barely into the 30 minute mark.

- removed single choice menus (one remains)
- reworked MC's early behaviour
- extended final scene
- added new achievement
- added character profiles for main characters

those in bold are the likely culprit why save are busted.

I really like this game so far.
I just replayed to view all the extra content and changes.
(Nice work removing all the single choices, I hate them in all games)
I do have a question, why the change in the bathroom scene? I loved to see Emma, she is gorgeous, and I don't see how removing that pic makes the plot better.
It's silly but I just hope that this change doesn't mean that we are not getting to see more of her in that way.

I get what you're saying but you still don't understand non-con content. It doesn't matter what you think of said content, you can't see it like gruesome and horrible and other players can see it like fap material no matter if it's used as "plot device" as you said or not.

This argument is weird. You can't control for unexpected hypothetical reactions. This isn't intended as a gay game, but the MC could easily arouse some players. You can't get angry and demand a censor bar over the MC so nobody reacts in an unintended way, that's dumb.

Man, I just finished the 0.5.0 like yesterday. I guess i should've waited lol, I doubt there's enough content in the .5.1 to justify downloading it again, so I guess I'll see y'all in 3 weeks!

Also, as an aside, the idea that anyone would think Emma is ugly is hilarious. Even if she isn't a particular person's type, she's got all the hallmarks of 'conventional' attractiveness. It's like when movies put a super hot actress in frumpy clothes and a pair of glasses to try and sell the illusion that she's plain. But I guess narratively speaking it's the simplest way to explain how a pretty girl has low enough self esteem that shallow compliments are enough to make her fall for someone.

I should probably emphasize that I'm not trying to shit on the game, I actually enjoyed it quite a bit. I don't even know why I bothered to type all of this. Whoops.

Ok, this game is now 100% better. The MC is no longer talking about being professional while acting like a perverted teenager.
