how I see it it's his world it doesn't need to follow real world realism 100% to me it's close enough that it's believable. Also sometimes it's better to do things that wouldn't make sense in the real world just to move a story forward.

People used arguments like "its his story, he can do what he want or like you, about not being 100% accurate its fine" so tell me, why he was arguing with me how REAL FBi operate in REAL world? Many here uses false arguments to prove something while clearly dev actually wanted to have FBI as much as real one as possible. He was wrong, didnt want to admit it and still I am evil one here for valid arguments.
It would be enough to say "yeah I fked up this fbi thing, didnt make efford enough, you are right" but nooo.... so much hate in you people.

Truth be told from reading both your post and his I don't even know who is right and who is wrong, I don't know enough or care to. From my point of view didn't seem like he was arguing with you at all but stating what he believes is / correct or at the very least saying how it works in his games world. If I was wrong and he was trying to say that's how X works in real life I see it as both of you just believe it works differently didn't even seem like a argument at all to me but just a disagreement as both of you believe it works differently. Seems like you are the one saying he was arguing with you when it was just a pretty neutral response.

Dev dont comprehend what actually means having FBI involvement. Thats a point of "pack your bags while you still can, things just changed to scary sh*t level". Instead, he create in his own ignorance government agency, corrupted like another local P.D. where some wannabe macho can say sh"t to federal agent,and another corrupted agent can shoot down whole operation like some local police chief. Thats not going to fly so no, Im quite sure he knows nothing about FBI.

This isnt some hyper accurate realistic story meant to reflect reality. Its more like a fun action movie with romance, the whole story is designed in a way to potray the mc as white-knighty as possible
Plots are constructed (in sometimes convuluted) ways to make the mc's armor extra shiny and blight. Youre talking about fbi details while there is a complete nonsensical big plot about the police detective abducting emma in the most stupid way possible for barely any reason while completly and unnecessarily exposing himself and killing a celeb for no reason while doing so.
This is a story about a guy who saves the day, and everything is designed in a way to make that possible. All the villains are one dimensional and completly unrealistic evil moustache twirling bad guys without even a single positive trait.
This is more like a bond movie (just that this bond isnt a womanizer and not really charming lmao) than true crime. You have to take it for what it is and enjoy it like that or just dont play it.

Hillside's story is 110% unrealistic in all its aspects.
I pointed out how nonsensical the depiction of the fashion industry was a while ago. You might guess how people reacted.
They should consider Hillside as what it really is: a fairy tale.

that's actually something I like about Hillside. At least to me it seems clear enough it does things just to move the story forward even if it wouldn't make sense in the real world. To me it does it in away that isn't to far fetched but not super realistic either yet works for the world of "Hillside". I find Hillside has a perfectly middle ground between realism and not. Instead of doing things that are completely out of left field that really don't make any sense or feels random like other games , ive played. Well except for villains that's the only area Hillside falls short for me as it feels they are just there as a plot device but no real depth or character to them.
