This isn't the first thread I've seen where strange people come to complain about some of the details of an adult visual novel not being true to reality. God knows why do they need it, but it is what it is.

Let's say the author shows a court scene. A professional lawyer will definitely tell you that this and that could not have happened in a real court, that the prosecutor would never have said such a phrase, and the judge would never have answered him like that. But what is more important for you, as a story readers: that the scene evokes strong emotions, makes you feel for the characters, or that it accurately depicts a real trial with all the endless details and procedures that are inherent in this field.

Or damn hackers. I always laugh when I bother to think about how their portrayal in movies, games or AVN reflects reality.
A nerdy dude sits near a shiny desktop with lines of text running across multiple screens. "Let’s hack this bitch," he says and... starts tapping on the keyboard non-stop. He emits incomprehensible muttering, from which only individual words and phrases like "router", "firewall", "symmetric key encryption" and other magical spells can be heard. The closer he is to the target, the faster he presses the buttons. The tension builds and finally the climax! "Yeah, bitch, I penetrated your firewall, entered your soft and warm DMZ and filled your system with my juicy payload!"

What a pile of bullshit! But the viewer/reader/player came to have fun and got a spectacular scene, what's wrong with that? Both, the audience understand that this is a show, and the author understands that they are making an entertaining show, and not a documentary. If the audience wanted to know what hacking is, they probably should have started by reading, I don’t know, Mitnick’s books? Although, of course, this is also mostly entertainment literature, but at least it is written with knowledge of the matter and from the experience.

So, are you guys really concerned about Agent Fox's position in the US federal chain of command? Or is it more important to you that she's on the MC's side, fearlessly standing with him and Charlie against the corrupt bastards, and that she's hot as hell?

Yeah, and one more question has been bothering me for a long time. After all, Mia Wallace was supposed to die from cardiac tamponade after Vincent Vega jabbed a syringe into her heart as hard as he could, right?

that's not an easy question to answer brother and depending on how much I think about it my answer might be different

each and every time I answer it

I love Star Wars

but I don't give a damn that it's not scientifically accurate

I don't give a damn how accurate a show is with its law or whatever

for me, it's not about how accurate things are in a game

it's about how this world works and its rules and how it make sense when I use my own logic

to try to understand it

like for instance I'm not thinking that this is not accurate to FBI law

I am thinking that trying to stop agents Fox's investigation like that

without a good reason and so out in the open is like trying to announce to the world that I'm corrupted

or if one of my detectives got caught trying to murder somebody

the smart thing to do is act like you are shocked and outraged

and pretend like you'll do anything to cooperate with the FBI and Charlotte

but instead, the police chief acts so hostile it's blatantly obvious to everybody that he's corrupted


so I'm not thinking that it's not accurate I'm thinking how do these bad guys get away with crimes

because they're so bad at hiding it how do they get away with anything?





but at the end of the day I still love Hillside

and you know what a good story is not a story without flaws a good story is a good story even with flaws

every story will have flaws but if it connects with you and you liked it enough you will not care

and also you can love a story but you can still have problems with it

man this game had so much promise....

It is a real shame. I relly liked the begining and bodyguard like story...

well there's other bodyguard game which is more lewd than this and has corruption of "innocent" schoolgirls and a bonafide nun.

So i finished this game and i liked it. It isn't perfect in the least, but it is great for what it is. The thing that bothered me the most were the renders and the dialogues. The renders don't have a cinematic feel to them, like when they're talking the scene just focuses on the characters face and not their body language. And the dialogues feel like I'm watching someone playing with their action figures/dolls and pretending that they're talking to each other. It's not organic. Other than that, the models look cool.

Fact 1: There is no corresponding Tag in the OP
Fact 2: I haven't thought about that at all up until now, because I was primarily fully occupied with bringing the two together in the first place.
Fact 3: HillsideVN has hinted that after the MC has solved Charlotte's "problem", the story will move on to the romantic part. What exactly that will look like is still his secret.
