I mentioned this to a friend the other day but I'll say it here to. Emma is my favourite fictional character ever created and I have played thousands of games and watched countless hours of TV.
Some people probably think I'm exaggerating but I'm being completely honest she has touched my heart very deeply.

Downloaded v0.15 from the Mega link here and getting a missing sound file error on the main menu. Anyone else getting this error?

IOError: Couldn't find file 'sounds/button_hover.ogg'.
Apologies. Looks like that is my error. Just not sure why I don't get an exception and no one else has reported it as a problem.
Mega is great but the free users have a download limit, so we like to keep that limit untouched for files where there is no other viable option. With the dektop app Mega lets you continue when the cap is lifted. I've downloaded files that took several days because of the daily limit.

Thanks for confirming it is an error with the game files. I did a quick search of the last few pages to see if it was reported before I posted originally.
I usually play renpy games with renpy.config.developer = True and it seems there is stricter file checking with that enabled. Setting it to False and the error did not pop up.

for future reference, go to your "preference" setting -> search options -> "most recent". Then you can use the search function to get "compressed" post.

No. This setting isn't needed when the lazy dudes learned that "compressed" isn't a proper search string. The admins gave the compressors very strict instructions how to make their postings. It's never been so easy to find what you need. Even when you don't know the linked posting. So every "compressed where?" posting is just spam and I wished those lazy dudes would get banned for annoying users all over the board.

HillsideVN I am sorry to hear about your sister and can totally empathize, within 2 years I lost my Uncle, Brother & bestie to Brain Cancer, My trans niece committed suicide because that is one of the side effects of the anti-rejection drugs from full transition. My Mom had cancer in both lungs and beat it through chemo and was pronounced cancer free but within 2 weeks of that declaration lost the ability to speak because of brain tumors and she was gone 2 weeks later. I am 61, a smoker for 45 years and I feel like I am living on borrowed time... (My Mom looked cute with a pink mohawk @ 70 though 
)

well this gets abandoned tag in mid november unless dev releases update before that and that's per F95's rules. w/o on hold tag game would get tagged until next year's november.
i don't hope abandonment.

Listen, we aren't barbarians to dismiss the feelings of others but when it comes down to the VNs themselves, they usually get abandoned after those first few messages of that type come through. Starts off with a reason, then an excuse followed by radio silence and inevitable abandonment.
You can be equally sympathetic and skeptical at the same time regarding the situation without having to be rude or dismissive. It's just naivety not to approach the matter without thinking about all the other times a project has been canned because of similar scenarios or less.
So all in all, I wish the dev the best but I won't be surprised if this VN gets shelved because after 7 years on this site, one thing I'm not is naïve.
