That's not necessarily correct. There are a whole host of reasons that someone may or may not have an abortion.
I wouldn't trust Charlotte's words too much in this matter. In the end, she successfully hid the fact of the attack on herself from her own children. And again, that doesn't change the fact that Charlie loved this guy. She's not saying that Suzi and Emma are the result of rape.
You're just hopping from one extreme to another, and probably reading too much into things, looking for something that isn't there. I imagine that at some point Charlotte did love the girls' father, but in the end, he abandoned them. She was then badly treated by a bunch of men in her industry, and horrifically attacked by one. It's not really a big surprise that she's wary around men and takes a long time to open up to a new man who has entered her life.
Charlie isn't the only one telling the same story about him and the MC isn't the only one listening.

why wouldn't she be trustworthy about this from what I understand the attack later I think probably a few years before the game started maybe 5 years at the most. So I dont think she has any reason to lie about the father to the girls because of her trauma. Especially not Lucy and she wouldn't let her lie to the girls.
The discrepancy. Suzi is 20 years old. Emma is 18 years old. If the father left the family when Emma was born, how can the eldest daughter remember him? At the age of two? So Dad lived with them for a while. This is confirmed by Lucy's dialogue with her older niece in a cafe. After the scandal she caused. Question: why did he leave? I cannot accept Charlotte's explanation. I'm not saying she's lying. She just might not be telling the whole truth.
That's the question. How can you remember someone you last saw when you were two years old?
where was it said she was 2 years old when he left Suzi could of been easily anywhere from 4-6. Still old enough for her to have some memories but Emma still to young to remember anything.

This brings us back to a set of questions: where is he, is he alive, what kind of relationship did they have, why did he leave. Aunt Lucy should know. But even if she tells us, it certainly won't be now. Another mystery.
Not really no, I don't see them having different dads.. neither is it implied anywhere in the story.
There are inferences made by Charlotte, Lucy, and Suzi about the dad and why he's not there. Without contradictory information, that's all that can be looked at.
Well yeah My child asks me for a large sum of money, but does not tell me why. That's not a reason to worry at all. And yes, even the caveman solved the case in five minutes just by talking to Hannah. But Charlotte didn't take the initiative at all.
