I think people fail to realize that Hillside is not your everyday go-to Porn game. I remember initially when I started playing this, before downloading the game I skimmed through the comments & reviews, and there were hundreds of crybabies complaining about the lack of explicit scenes and slow pace of the game. Ngl, I was reluctant as well, but when I went through the initial chapters, I was SO INVESTED in the story! I mean it is like a K-drama with a little bit of teenage slice of life! I didn't even mind if an update didn't have any lewd scenes, I just wanted to know what is the next plot!
So yeah, this will be a slow burner (in terms of sexual activities) but definitely NOT in terms of story!

Yeah I read many manhwas, when there is a good VN with good story, I have the same enjoyment as if reading a manhwa. If the story is good, I get invested as much as some with a bad story but nice graphics and animations. Not everything needs to be the same. Most VNs focus on porn and people have sex for no reason at all lol, but the few that focus on history is just as enjoyable for mw. Lately I feel like most VNs are lacking a plot, a story, it is just beautiful characters and porn. It isn't just as good imo.
If you are horny ok, but if you are just willing to enjoy a good VN. the porn alone won't do it.
