"Realistic games" would be boring though.
The whole point of games, is to escape reality/live fantasies you might never even attempt in real life :)

Yeah but realistically would you drop your shorts and jerk off while you watch someone showering(actually don't answer that lol) but my point is I get that some people play these games as an escape from reality but isn't it tiresome having the same immature shit in every VN you play. One of the reasons why Hillside for me, is one of the best VNs is because it has none of those overlyused tropes most VNs have and the MC is not a horndog. But I guess it's preferences at the end of the day, some like myself play these VNs for the story and characters(lewd stuff is just a side bonus) while others play it simply for the lewd stuff(story is just a side bonus)

Perhaps, but a level of suspension of disbelief needs to be possible for most to really get involved with what's going on. A game can be realistic, have some internal logic and still be interesting. IMHO at least.

I'm hoping that I can be successful with realism in my contemporary and science fiction projects. My Steampunk project will be my opportunity to play a little fast and loose with reality.

For the showering, yes, only to get hard, then I'd join.

Back on topic - I do agree that it is refreshing to have stuff other than the usual "whoops I just saw Bro/daddy's dick in the shower, it's so big", no questions there.

However, If things gets too realistic, it's just not enjoyable in my opinion, not just for adult games, but games in general.
Take other games as example, with superb plausible and realistic stories, they have next to no adult content usually, which is unfortunately, the same here.

This game does have a ton of tropes: idiot young girl, females easy to manhandle, females blackmailed,
females raped with nobody giving a damn, females assaulted with nobody giving a damn,

There are different games that require different tropes. You would need to suspend your disbelief while playing a cest harem game. But this game has a much more natural setting. So I expect things to be more realistic. Not to say that they are not. This is a splendid game. It's just Emma that gets on my nerves sometimes with the way she acts. And I've said this before on this thread. Charlotte and Emma's relationship reminds me of the pink Floyd song, "Mother".

Yeah. I can't wait for the choice that completely unsexualizes Emma in my play through. Like a completely platonic relationship.

Joking aside, yeah, I do agree that depending on the game, one may need to accept a few things they normally wouldn't, but it still doesn't mean a game should be too realistic. I mean, who wants to play something they experience each day? There's just no point to that. Just my opinion on the matter anyway.

Last update was out on 20th or 21st Nov of last year...and it has only been like two and a half month, looks like his entitlement syndrome kicked in early this year.
