Charlotte and the MC were designed to need each other.
Its quotes like this, that makes it tough for me to want to play this game. Its just feels like the dev is clearly catering to Charlotte. And when we get quotes like this, it just feels like the other girls don't matter, and I question why there are even choices for other girls. I just feel like my LI choice doesn't matter and won't get equal treatment with quotes like this.

Just feels bad. :(

I think what DB is saying more or less is that what the theme of that path is gonna be like . As it seems like every LI has a different theme to their path

Maybe not...

On double checking my last save, that was back in May '23, v0.13, so if Suzi has backslide into being an obnoxious jerkass again, I haven't seen it since she started to treat MC with half an ounce of respect after he stepped in and helped her. (I like to let updates pile up and then binge a bunch all at once.)
I mean her blowup in Ep. 12, after Charlotte and Emma talk to Agent Fox (and after he saves Suzi from Johno, and them from the cop!). That was a disgusting showing by Suzi. I mean, Charlotte and Emma were in that highly stressful situation, yet the former keeps her doubts and fears civil, and the latter absolutely adores the MC. Suzi wasn't there, yet acts the most bitchy out of the Lloyds by far.

Also, back in Eps 8-9, Suzi was also incredibly rude to the MC despite Charlotte being civil to him by then already.

I get what you mean, but this can be said about more or less every AVN where you prefer a SG to the MGs. Hillside is also not the only game where there's a certain MG getting more focus than the other MGs, not even the only popular one among such games. Imo, this flaw can be easily compensated by good story and characters, and Hillside certainly has those.

Each of the love interests is unique and follows a different romance trope that fits their personality and backstory.

Charlotte and the MC follow a "fated lovers" trope, where they seem destined to be together. Their personalities and histories are intentionally designed to fit together like pieces of a puzzle.

In contrast, Emma and the MC follow more of a "forbidden love" trope, where nothing about them seems to fit, yet their love is genuine and they make it work despite everything.

This doesn’t mean that any one romance is the "true" or "correct" path.

So far, the story's attention has been on Emma at first, and now Charlotte, but that will change once the antagonists are dealt with and the focus shifts to the romances.

Each love interest will have her own story arc in which she overcomes her personal struggles, supports the MC through his, and develops a deeper, more meaningful relationship with him.
