Our Fate was good, but I don't like how different paths were handled there either. You see exactly the same pictures but narration and meaning are differs for the different paths. This is fine if you're only playing one playthrough, but if you want to try every possible route, it will cause you a kind of cognitive dissonance. With Hillside I see a different problem, a dozen chapters have passed by and the MC hasn't been given a chance to show that he sees Emma in any role other than as a daughter. I wonder if the author will be able to make such a sudden turn in the MC's attitude towards Emma natural and plausible.

That's one of the problems. Unequal character development. 4 LI. Four characterwise different woman.
Lucy was a easy target, before MC could turn around, their legs were already spread out. If you wanted her, there she was. Ready.
Charlie is walking without making any ground, probably dev try to accelerate two remaining stories while Charlie waits. When we see her past, that's consisted with the story.
Suzy isn't worming up really, MC helped her but she is too proud to accept it. Even when it was a big deal.I think Hannah could help her. Before she's in jail for killing somebody... She's acting consistent too, little bit childish, but consistent.
Emma was on date with one of the worst characters there. Zak. I'm not going to say anything more that it was already said. She is a "daughter" figure for now, nothing more or less. And I see why almost anyone see her like that. Looks about 18, acts about 12.

Not sure what you mean by little sis/big sis route. But they're all Li's if that's what you want to know. Both Emma and her sister.
Charlotte is a slow build as her route should be, given the trauma. Dev has handled her route pretty well so far not rushing anything. Tho her letting Emma go out with Zak as well as encouraging it did contradict her character, but not everything can be perfect I guess.

If I remember correctly that's the default name of the main Li from Our Fate, so not sure what you're on about. Please clarify.

I only played two routes. The fatherly route and the romance route. Never could bring myself to complete the corruption route. Just couldn't do that to poor Claire lol. But I get your point.
As for the MC not seeing Emma as a potential Li yet,im sure it has to do with the fact that she still acts like a child atm. But going forward Emma will gradually start acting more matured as well as dressing more womenly. I think that's when the MC, hopefully by players choice will begin to notice her.

Ok, member since 2019 and that's your first post? How many games did you play? This is first game you had this "meltdown" and decide to intervene? It's calling "slow burn" And it's quite common. Ar least you should play the last part of the game, then it's possible to talk about the game. This is just fishing for spoilers.

Ok so you're a shallow individual, we get that, but then why don't you just stick to a more basic game instead of complaining for 'reasons' ?

I'm just surprised that you had no encounter with that. I played many games where was no sex up to end of the game. Nothing new. It's called AVN (Adult Visual Novel) and meant that there could be sex scenes, but actually there must not be any. It's a story, we're having here conversation about it. But playing to lvl 12 and come with your comment and complain that nothing happen isn't OK. There are many games where I asked a question, but it would be how to proceed.
There are games where I started to play, got bored and quit. Without even one post. Even if I liked it. The game have only to implement sandbox or to much freeroam and I'm out.

There was any slow burn tag, and then played it till last chapter. And since having a negative opinion on something its forbidden? I left the first message , so people like me( the shallow type), know to move on if they are not interested.

Got lucky i guess. I usually look at tags, And description. This one looked good, so i tried it. Not my cup of tea. Never posted before, but i felt the need to let the ones who are like me, shallow like how another person called me in a response, and have no idea that avn stand for just plot . Lesson learned

Descriptions can be (and are) usually written what is currently implemented into games. Plus is when Developer write down future tags. He can even write about slow burn, but that not common. Most AVN I play are slow burn type, I don't ask for it, but if I see a new game with interesting tags, it's 90% chance it will be slow burn. That's luck too.
But (in my opinion) slow burn games are usually the best. If you're in search for games to play, just write down what are you searching for, what you like and what you don't like. And games you already played. If highlight games you liked, it would be easier for us to suggest you something.

The game's been showing something quite different, in fact.
Truth is that we only had 2 major branching decisions: 1) in the beginning either choosing Lucy or entering Charlotte's path; 2) either boning Kayla as a fuckbuddy or not-boning her (it might become a problem with the family girls, I guess).
In the meanwhile we raised Emma points and became her he-might-become-my-stepdaddy and witnessed Suzi become less important than a flower vase on a table in the living room.
