I think you skipped an update. They kissed for the first time in the last one. I can understand why he put up with Charlotte not trusting him at the start cause of trama he has over failing the other Emma and with her having a daughter with the same name. But after saving her daughter while Charlotte's trauma is understandable for having doubts for trusting him after seeing him kill someone, the MC acts like it's no big deal after everything they gone through from what I can recall.
