Phew, that update more or less confirms it... DB has lost his interest in this game. If THAT is considered "love for his game" thats dissapointing.
This update is very awkward, renders seems off, quality decreasing, sloppy in the making too compared to other updates of the game. Dialogue kind of rushed. It very much feels like DB just wanted to get over with it. The characters are talking totally weird now... kind of "stiff" dont now, like robots. The whole update felt really off. But the last updates where going that way too already. Like you can see how DB lost the passion from update to update and now its totally gone.
The game might get complete one day, but i dont think it will be with a good pace to it... It will get either abandoned or just rushed to the finish line. No matter his promise that he wants to create a good completion, its obvious he will not deliver that. He just doesnt want to anymore. I guess he will use the break to think about a quick solution to end things with the game, in one way or another. But not in the way he once planned and wanted to achieve.
Little sad to see a DEV struggle while he has a good game going for a while. But its clear to see that he lost his passion, and just doesnt want to work on the game anymore, this update shows it very much.
At least he is somewhat transparent about it in his DEV logs... but at the same time making promises about not abandoning the game and still having the desire to finish it properly, but not wanna work on the game anymore rules it out to finish it in a proper way cause it doesnt work like that one day the passion just ignites again. that is wishful thinking.. But i guess he cant really admit it to himself and his supporters at this point that the game will not end like we all want to.

Yes I think I lost some saves as well.

would not loosing time mean faster than light travelHow does someone loose their time? Lose it, I understand but loose? Do we need to accelerate to near light speed so time get slower for us, thus loose time?

What IS important to us is the story actually getting finished. And from author's declaration there is little hope for it, for he/she/it is giving up for health reasons (why is it always health reasons with adult game devs? xD).

yeah even tho it is a bit worrisome it's a bit too quick and early for me to worry if the dev will or will not come back it's only been a day or so since that message. So for right now I have faith and im gonna remain hopeful but for how long I don't know.

Loved seeing more of Charlotte, some really nice scenes but did anyone else find this update a bit lacking?
It's been over 6 months since chapter 14. I know that it's only the first half but still...it has no music or animations for the dev to spend time on, it's only renders. Guess I was just hoping for a bit more, hopefully the second half will deliver.

Personally I'm not really attached to this game since it's been more than half a year since last (small) update, Emma romance is progressing slower than getting US back on the Moon since the author wrote himself into a corner by making her sexually/romantically naive on the level of a child even though she's 19 and thus honestly can't really progress a romance with a FAR older man in an organic/somewhat believable way. And until this update dropped I had both forgotten about this story and given up on it being updated or at least with any significant progress in the path I'm mostly interested.
I don't think we're gonna get much more from it; the fact that we didn't even get the entire freaking update in one go is already telling enough for me, besides his explicit declaration that the game is toxic for him and he's giving up. Hell, I'm even doubtful about the second half of 0.15. If he comes back to the game, great; but I'm not holding my breath or my hopes. I would most probably simply suffocate disappointed.
I like this story, but it's not important in my life, not like it seems for some people on this board who are very passionate. I follow just 3 or maybe 4 AVNs, sadly all have authors either working really slowly to the point they cured me of passion for their work by making me indifferent or they are on the verge of giving up.
If the author returns, great, but if not, it's not I lost anything important to me.

He actually did admit. He literally said that the game has become toxic for him and he has to stop for health reasons and for the good of his family. The only way he could be more explicit would be to say "the development is stopped for good" and I don't think that's something he's prepared to admit to himself, though he knows that is what is going on.

fair enough yeah I have zero interest in Emma so the update before this one was great for me. Tho to be honest this game has enough content that I like where I could replay the game once in awhile even if it never gives get completed .
Tho to be honest im not to surprised this dev needs a break and isn't enjoying the creation process. Since it didn't feel like this dev took much of a break at all when they had some bad news going on in their personal life and a month didn't feel like that much time to me especially if they are thinking about the game once in awhile. If I recall correctly DB didn't even take the entire month away from development either only something like 2 weeks. Tho im sure alot of other devs dislike the creation process but do enjoy it once they start to put the pieces together. So while it is worrisome this dev saying they don't like creating the game it could be worse to me . Be different if the dev said they didn't love or like this game. Tho I also just don't like to see or think about the negative in things right away either unless it's something immediate which this isn't at least to me.

This dev is blue balling us for so long now. It started as a slow burner. Now there is no fire left and I just want it to finally end. Was it a horrible game? As a porn game yes. It was boring to the point I thought I wasn't playing a game that was about sex at all. Was it a bad story? At first no, but the characters are so flat they could fit under a door, the bad guy was pretty one dimensional and it's all drama for the sake of drama. The dev should write a book and be done with the story. Why even bother to make a game that isn't even that good?

He wrote himself into a corner in more ways than one. I haven't played this update yet, but harem game this is not. Both Emma and Charlotte are emotionally fragile and Charlotte is not going to allow the MC to romance anyone else. Her sister is already an exclusive choice - it is her or Charlotte. Emma is definitely off limits, unless she starts 'sleepwalking' like in Corrupted Love.
What's with Americans going crazy about that fucking place so much this year? Was it on the news? Is it trending on X? Or did it feature in one of those tv shows about expats? I'm namely seeing it mentioned EVERYWHERE even in freaking fanfiction and honestly getting a bit sick of it. Sure, it's a beautiful place, but not THAT much, there's places just as beautiful if not more that don't get as much exposure or drool. xDI knew Charlotte was my dreamgirl. She knows.

Okay, I could've worded it better, but those were the two major issues I had with the character and that disqualified her from the race.
