I believe Jason is an actor, not a manager (I would have to go back a ways to confirm). He uses his good looks and fame to conscript starry-eyed girls for his pleasure. Also Charlotte copes with her haunted past and loneliness by drinking too much, though she's not quite an alcoholic.

This is the feeling I got as well. He's definitely an actor (A-list), regardless of anything else though.

AFAIK Jason was literally manager to Emma model girl (not daughter, another one).

I can't remember anything to back this up. I skipped through a bit of the game this morning to see if I'd misremembered anything, but I just got the same impression as I previously had (which matches what I've quoted above from JJ1960). Jason is an actor, and I think he was either seeing ModelEmma or just banging her, and he was using that relationship to introduce her to Harry and his bunch. I got the impression ModelEmma was in the same position as the girl Fox and her partner found beaten up at Jason's house - she thought he loved her, she was sucked in by his fame and looks etc., so it's more of a straight grooming process rather than an actual business relationship that he is taking advantage of.

Ok so this Charlotte, why she is still modelling? Yes, yes she said about helping girls but who is she really helping? Shes scared of own shadow, besides she doesnt need it to help other girls. On the contrary, if thats her goal she propably could do more good from backstage. I mean woman of her caliber, worldwide well known supermodel right? Her name only should open most doors in the industry. Why did she even still live in this city if shes so frightened? She should have houses, connections all over the world. But this is exactly why this story goes wrong in my opinion. Its all seems like shes only supermodel in this city, hell its more like theres no world outside at all. The idea was good but this should be some unknown, new model whos struggling in abusive industry. It doesnt make any sens in this story...

First of all, theres no way in hell that local agent is asigned to local case let alone be in command. Thats exaclty opposite to how theyre operating in case of any corruption. And case as big as this? There should be whole unit working on this, linked directly to headquarters.
Sure its not all bad, there are some other ups and downs, I like MC but he could be more manly sometimes and less pussy and definetly less retarted.

To be fair... well I was going to say it's not like a Hollywood script, but then, are Hollywood movies all believable and not stupid? It's a story by an amateur writer (no disrespect to the dev), and I'd guess the intention to be as realistic as possible is probably a little bit down the priorities list.

She does give answers to some of these questions in dialogue with MC so I won't cover that (for repetition and potentially spoilers if you've not seen that yet). Ultimately though, she's still at the top of the game, despite (or in spite of) her age. She has the contacts and access in the industry and that allows her to still be in a position to do what she wants to do.
