The 0.16 update is out and available on the OP downloads. It's worked perfectly fine for me with the new content.
If it's not:
- Are you running any walkthrough or cheat mods? If so, that'll probably be your problem. If this is the case, you have to reach out to the Mod Author to update, there's no support for mods in this thread.
- Saves made when using some mods will not work properly unless you mod the updated game. Simple moving from a modded 0.15.1 to base 0.16 may not work. Again, you'll have to reach out to the Mod Author to get it updated.
- There is no update/upgrade download. Are you trying to extract over top of the 0.15.1 game? It has to be a fresh extraction.

The only thing I can think of is the guy turns out to be a creep and the MC comes in and saves the day and they fall in love. Though that seems silly, Suzy can handle herself. It's been repeated too much anyway in this story.
Not a massive Suzi fan (don't hate her, just like others more) I have a save for her but yeah, I feel like Suzy lovers are getting hit with almost NTR. Didn't see that coming.

After enjoying this game for years, I'm starting to question whether this is the kind of progression that I want from the game. I get it that it's slow burn, but it has been 5 years from the start and Charlotte is still on the "can I like him? he makes me feel so safe, but but but ..." phase which is really tiring and extremely repetitive because she was on this same questioning herself with inner monologue phase probably 2 years ago. Yes we got hints of progression (holding hand, talk about wedding with Valentini, etc) but nothing meaningful.
Then of course there's also Suzi which I have absolutely no idea what her character is supposed to be anymore. I somewhat wished dev restarted the game after 0.2 and removed Suzi because it feels like she's such a forgotten pointless character. Yes we got Suzi screentime in this update, but of course just with Emma. I'm pretty sure dev doesn't quite know what to do with Suzi-MC interaction/relationship. I'm surprised we didn't even get the Emma/Suzi/MC running scene this update.
I'm just ranting, but yeah, I'm just disappointed overall. Emma stayed the same and borderline overstaying her character trope, Kaylah became far too pushy and no longer playful/flirty, Morrigan being a shitty bitch out of nowhere, and just repetitive Charlotte-MC interaction. This update has a lot of content/render, but feels like nothing really progressed. It's just a real shame.

I think it depends on how you look at it. If you look at it from deveolopment time then yeah I can see your point. But if you just look at the story as a whole Id disagree at least when it comes to Charlotte cause while it seems small I feel she has a big leap in progression because of her trauma.
Tho I heard the small rework is gonna introduce Suzi in a better way .

well this isn't really a porn game but those are the only 2 paths that have any sex tho the Kaylah scene in V0.15 was alot better not sure about lucy.

What's frustrating is all these 4+ star reviews for so called 'adult' and sexual content games, and when you download the GB's worth of content, to find that whilst playing them, the cuckoo never pops out of the shrubs, because you're reading hour's worth of text with no sexual content.
Should have a -no sexual content- tag implemented.
If I wanted to read a PG comic I could go to my local library.

well not everyone is looking for a fap and alot actually enjoy the romance / the game that and reviews shouldn't be base on sex imo that doesn't make a good AVN
Expect there is sex it just may not be to your standards. but would be nice to have a tag something like limited sex for those that just care about sex. As I play plenty games that is about the story and very little sex but would hard to determine cause that could be very subjective
