Im enjoying the game, story is interesting enough, characters have well defined personalities and design (except Lucy, I don't like her but that's a me thing, probably)... However, I don't understand why this is a "VN"? choices exist, but they mean nothing as MC is being completely directed to Charlotte.
Also: why did he change from a common tie to a bow tie in just 1 frame? lol

I'd have to see more of it, but that just looks like proper bow tie, before it's been tied. They start out like that:

diference between VN and sandbox is that you choose location, but without choices and routes its not a game, you re free to choose wich girl you want, during charlote birthday, when kiss her cheek, you choose if you want be with her or stay professional and keep open routes for others

I've got to say, Lucy is an odd one out in this game. In some renders she's gorgeous and in others she's meh. Her personality is uneven, too. I do really like my Lucy run (I think that was my first save, I couldn't turn her away after hearing how she was always second pick to Char). She really makes a great LI once the relationship moves along.

Another thing good about Lucy is that she and Kaylah are the only LIs that put out at this point in the game, so there's that. The sex with both are pretty hot, so I hold out high hopes for my other route saves. The stories for Char and Emma routes are great so far, too.

And as others have mentioned, non-clip-on bowties (the real bowties) look like that until tied.

There will be pregnancies as part of the story, but it won't be treated as a kink.

I haven't decided if there will actually be any pregnancy sex yet.

im not into pregnancy sex tbh but I wouldn't say no to that with Charlotte. Probably one of the few id actually like it if it happens tbh but then again I only have a small list of LI I want to get pregnant as well. so im not the target audience for that

I think having it as an optional choice would be interesting, if done correctly. It's something that would require proper planning. If done too early, it could mean increasing the number of renders if the game runs long enough for them to start showing to account for both pregnant and not.

I could see it showing up further into the game story, not accounting for an "accident". It's something that could also feature into the epilogue, based on an in-game discussion/decision.

Barring an accidental event, I only see Charlotte and Lucy being at the point in their lives that it'd make sense. Emma is young and just starting her career/internship. Suzi still has the Olympics coming up. Kaylah is still at the start of her skyrocketing modeling career. Anything with them, would (to me) only really make sense if written in carefully.

Quite likely. I assume we can get into a relationship with her before DB wraps up the game though.
I haven't played in a couple of updates, so not really sure what has happened lately. Not that I expect us getting much closer to Suzy anytime soon.

funny enough, you got like 10 replies for "tie" (including the dev himself), yet no reply for "choices dont matter" thing.
so apparently im the only one who will respond to the second thing - if you have found choices dont matter here that shows your lack of experience with AVNs

all kidding aside, there are clearly defined paths and choices leading to them, though it isnt always obvious.
this is not happy fappy pokemon collector game where mc can "play" all chicks, at least till some point.
here, based on choices, mc quite early locks himself out of certain paths...considering choices arent that frequent, particularly later in the game, it could seem as "kinetic" or "fake choices game", yet it is far from it (talking about girls paths only ofc).
and that is the why most players around like it and play it...the other reason ofc is bimbo emma

oh no, I do have experience with VNs, and I know many have the same problem. But, they having that problem is no excuse. That's like a student saying he's doing fine with school because his classmates are also having trouble with their qualifications. This game does have some choices, as you mentioned, earlier on the game. But, later sections seems to ignore (a little bit) those choices. For example, I was playing Kaylah route and MC keeps thinking "but I wanna be with Charlotte". Then, why did I choose Kaylah if the game wants MC to be with Charlotte? Also, as this is not my 1st time playing the game (I had to change laptop) there was a moment when I skipped some dialogues and that was like, no kidding, 2-3 minutes with no interaction at all. Anyway, game is nice enough for me to keep playing but well, just wanted to air out mi thoughts.

The whole story is a kind of save/protect the damsel tale; so it would fit.

Just finished my Charlotte run through that I started in readiness for the latest update and I thoroughly enjoyed the latest installment with lots of hand holding and head pats as Dessolos says with other romantic moments.

Without too many spoilers, I appreciate things certainly felt like they were moving along for the MC and Charlotte in the latest episode, the gift given by Charlotte was a lovely touch and the discussion between Charlotte and Valentini was heart-warming. Keep up the great work HillsideVN I am looking forward to v0.17 and beyond to what will probably be the coming storm for the Queen of the Catwalk . Great story, top visuals, top game, one of the best I have played Cheers!
