VN Ren'Py Hillside [v0.16.2 rework] [DarkBlue]

This started as a top-end VN for me but the updates are too sparse and the content/pace too lacking to really care about it anymore.

I'm rarely tough on devs (only two come to mind) as life happens, Daz3d is difficult and it is just a VN afterall. However, starting so well and having such a good hook makes this one a tough pill to swallow. The idea of a stalker going after the beautiful daughter of a famous model is great. Yet, nothing has really come of that assuming the dude you deal with many updates ago was the sole stalker (or whatever, it's been so long and updates are so sparse that I don't even remember).

It's just kind of wild to still be at a place where nothing has happened with the daughter or mother. I'll forget this exists, see a random update like once a year and then see that nothing much has developed with the two people players most care about.

I'm sure I'll decide to try again in about 5 years, lol. Maybe. Who knows? A sincere good luck to the dev.

I don't see how Emma will ever be a love interest. It feels like the author kind of wrote themselves into a corner when creating her in the sense that she's more like a child than a teenage girl. I kind of think this story would have been better serviced if Charlotte was the only LI and Emma was her much younger daughter instead of an extremely naive teenager.

I haven't played the paths / saves with the sex scenes yet and after this update things are just looking better and better. One of my favorite updates / chapters so far. Was alot I loved about it.

but even as a novel this story started to get boring and there is no really of +18 content to make it up

This was a great update! Well, for me at least. Milage may vary depending on what path you favor. It really started off with a bang if you are on Lucy's path.

I dont mind it as i simply dont see her as a LI

but emma is either mentally challanged or just not an adult. This line of thought reads more like a 12 year old, maybe its even already too innocent/immature for a 12 yo



I like emma but i could never see her as anything else than a stepdaughter (the non-incest kind!!! ) in this avn

Anyone complaining about not seeing any sex scenes or asking for a save for path they are not playing, download URM, https://f95zone.to/threads/universal-renpy-mod-urm-2-4-1-mod-any-renpy-game-yourself.48025/ , and learn to use it.

Then load a save from the start of the ep and search for the _choice_ variables in URM (mom, aunt, kay, od, yd) for example (mom_choice_01), don't change anything else, set the variables for the character whose path you want to be on to 1, the rest of them to 0. Congratulations, you're now on their path. Play through update then rinse and repeat. No need to have five different playthroughs...

adult means its for adults, but it doesn't mean theres only sex for us grown ups. games can focus on emotions and romance way more than sex and still be great. If sex is all we want we would have just watched porn. But instead you play this game because you want more than just sex, you just might not have realised it yet.

Im not going to argue with you, is about the term you use, i dont know in witch country you live, but in my country to be adult need to go past to some age, and any movie show or whatever, have tag adult is about sex and have tag the age with + if have violence, bad language have is tagged with aged down with two or three year with plus( example: bad language 13+. violence, drug and... 16+ sex 18+). So in my book, adult is not the same how you think, and i don't say anything about the reason i play some game.

You are right on every level. I started this VN some years ago and I gave up ... because of complete boredom and disappointment. This is like a novel by Barbara Cartland or Rosamunde Pilcher in a modern dress. Yawn ! Sorry to be honest

Didn't say that it was good, only pointed out a way to see the two scenes that was in the update without having replay it all.
