I'm not sure which is the exact branch in the code. But the one that might be it is the Charlotte choice "I have feelings for her / she is a client" which is way before the Kaylah hookup in question. That happens pretty early (before Emma's date/Zak's murder)
Dev said there will only be 4 LIs. He also said that Selena will not have an ending only a sexual relationship. He has not said that Kaylah won't get an ending that I have ever seen anywhere and I have searched pretty thoroughly.
yeah I recall the same thing and hoping she at least gets an ending base on the last update even if she never gets "promoted" as like you said the last update made me question Kaylah status.
only the Lloyd women were stated to be actual LIs so I'd surprised if the rest got an ending. But who knows, Kaylah is popular enough, DB could change his mind about it. But no voting on it please
