hello everyone, I'm starting a new game because I didn't like my choices before, the first play through I didn't choose Lucy because I thought that Charolette was sexier but after choosing Charolette it's like dragging my testicles over broken glass trying to make progress with her, soooooo if I choose lucy can I decide later to choose Emma or her Suzi? I realize that you can only choose one character and I know that I'd probably hurt Lucy and I know it sounds like a dick move but I just don't find Lucy sexy but I feel bad because I remember she said" everyone always chooses Charlotte over me", any opinion would be appreciated
From what the Dev has said, the MC will only be able to have one LI. The game currently does have some limited logic in some places, to detect if trying to start multiple paths.
In most cases, the scenes/conversations that play out are exclusive to the first variable path it matches on. For example: If on charlotte path play scene which sets charlotte variables and adds relationship points; else if on lucy path show scene that sets lucy variables and adds relationship points; else if on kaylah path show a scene that sets kaylah variables and adds relationship points. In these cases, you'll miss variables and relationship points that can affect the relationships.
Now that said: 1) Suzy has no path yet, she only has two variables for scenes and I've been able to get 7 relationship points with her on a dedicated run; 2) Emma also don't have a path yet, but she has 10 variables for scenes and I've been able to get 27 relationship points with her on a dedicated playthrough.
There's a very high chance that if you try to do multiple LIs on one playthrough you'll miss a number of relationship points and variables. It's
not possible to get maximum relationship points and all variables for all LIs in one playthrough, as many scenes are exclusive of each other.
An interesting thing I noticed related to Emma. Since Episode 10 completed, meaning from Episodes 11 and onwards, none of her variables have been checked for any reason. Thus all previous decisions have no impact on her story. And in addition no new variables are added to the game related to her. The only variable that affects Emma in those newer episodes is if MC is on the Charlotte path or not, which only affects superficial conversations involving her, and that's it.
Edit: If starting a new run, why not have one dedicated to each that you do like? It's easy enough to Tab-skip all the content, and then you won't miss any scenes with any of them. You can blaze through the already seen content pretty quickly and it'll just stop at the new stuff you haven't seen yet. If you don't like an LI, then don' t waste the time pursuing them, as you won't really like the playthrough.
