I think it's very clear throughout her actions in this game so far that Suzi is an emotional person and definitely not logical person. If you truly believe she is logical, she would've warmed up to MC much quicker because MC has done nothing but positive things for her and her family. Her hate towards MC is irrational and purely based on her associating MC with her father.
I'm surprised you see Suzi as a logical person.
Maybe I was not too clear. Suzi is logical and like cxx said singleminded, she goes action&reaction. Not because she does not have any emotion but she is in control of them. MC basically broke that though, she has feeling towards him but it's uncharted territory for her.
You can see it how her before MC and after MC clearly if you compare Chase and MC. Chase does make sense, it is what expected of her but she does not feel anything to her. When Emma asked about Chase, there was not a single thing emotional. She is struggling with MC because there is nothing logical about a relationship with MC. He is lower in status, probably in education, their goals does not align, there is a huge age gap etc. you can expand but yet, she feels the attraction. That is what makes her annoyed, even angry. MC is an unknown for her.
I think, iirc came with the rework, what will define their relationship be when she asked how she should handle a team member, which MC suggested completely against her logic, yet worked flawlessly. I believe, she will convince herself a relationship with MC can be good, exactly like how well trying to understand her team member instead of yelling worked. If that worked, this should work too will be first few steps for her, then if those work too she will believe in it more and more. Which will make choosing MC a logical choice for her.
I could be wrong obviously because it is an unfinished work but as far as I see this make sense to me.
