There should never be a rework until the game is finished. Biggest advice for any dev would be get your shit straight before you start making the game. Don't add any new variables after certainly. And never change shit this far in.

Agreed seen so many great games suddenly have a remake/remaster/rework....then other devs sudden abandon it out of nowhere. At least its in game variables and not actual game content Not saying it will happen here but I got PTSd man.

Holy shit... hell yeah! Just start changing variables this far into a game, cause why the heck not right?? Great way to lose your fanbase real quick. Straight on the pile that wont be touched any time soon. Rework, sure, needs to be done sometimes but it's not that hard to keep the rest working. This is just.. well... lazy.

Hence the "have your shit straight" part. Remember the 7 Ps - Prior Planning and Preparation Prevents Piss Poor Performance. Have things planned out before even starting to work on actually making the game. After the first maybe 3 releases having to restart is completely unacceptable.

Indeed disappointing. What a shame that we're at this point where horrid planning makes itself known. What a shame. The plot was interesting, the progress rate was acceptable. But apparently there's a Dev among us that seems to be allergic to pen and paper and proper planing and workflow. Think I'd donate to Jehovah's witness church before donating to this project again.

It explicitly states "old saves no workey". Which means old saves won't work, you have to start a new game. There's nothing to be done to "make it work".

Finished rebuilding my saves. Definitely isn't the same as my previous ones. Especially since I just hard focused Charlotte this time around instead of trying to play the field with everyone.

I just played the latest update. Honestly speaking, it looks like a hassle to start playing from the beginning but somehow I liked it for this occasion. Everything about the game is allright. Except, We have not seen any action. Even though the story progressed a lot. I know the fact that developers are afraid to get the heroines in the action. But, that worry is vain. There are many games in this forum that have proven the otherwise. So, let us get action in the next update please.

So its either the renpy update without updated security key (easy way to force playing game again from the start for no god damn reason), or its a freaking rewrite with nothing new but still breaks old saves. And hillside managed to check both boxes...Nice...

Just having it on the OP doesn't mean much, because rather often that is there a couple updates in and is never removed, even though after that 1 time they do work.
