OLD SAVE

LOL, AFTER FIVE YEARS OF PLAYING, REALLY ?
Another game on the shelf, to take dust.
It's nothing new in this line of work. I've seen many a dev make major changes for one reason or another. Sure it's not liked by the players, but there is a logical reason behind it, it's just so that they don't have to be made later down the road. It's best to get it out of the way now, rather than putting it off until it's near completion. Typically, those changes are made only once, though, and to be honest, it's not that big of a deal (at least to me, anyway).

As someone who has worked with a dev for as long as I have, and have seen people complain about incompatible saves, it's part of the job. If you like the game, and the dev creating it, it shouldn't be an issue. You'd still support it whether it's an inconvenience or not. Or you could do what most do; wait until the game gets a few updates under its belt before diving back into it. That's why choices are so great. Do I play the game all over again? Wait until there's a few updates? Or just move on to something else and leave this one behind? Either way, if it's the first two choices, you'd still have to start a new game anyway.

No, it’s not the same and I tell you the reason.
Games are made by passion, funny and sentiments, by the devs but by the players, too.
When I play the game, I take some choice in that moment, by my feelings.
If I replay the game I will change my choiches by the story I played.

Well, certainly players do have some input to offer, but it's all up to the dev as to whether or not they'll be implemented and when, and it's for a variety of different reasons. Mainly it has to fit the story or it'll look weird. Most already have a set storyboard they go off of.

While I agree that players can and do sometimes get caught up in the game, there might be some needed tweaks to it in order to flow well together. So change is inevitable, and almost unavoidable as well. Regardless, you have a valid point, but the change made here is also a valid point as well. I'm not really taking sides here, but after being involved in the testing and support I do for the dev I've worked with for as long as I have, I understand the reasoning behind the changes. I have an appreciation and respect for how most devs think and operate.

So is starting over worth the "time" you invested? There's no easy answer there, that's up to the individual willing to devote that time to doing so. Obviously I started over when I couldn't load my save, but I'm used to that, and honestly, I'd say it was worth it. If I wasn't invested in the story, I wouldn't have bothered. It gave me the opportunity to reacquaint myself with the earlier story that I'd forgotten.

I have my favorites, but Suzi is a cute tigress. I want to keep seeing that fury of hers lol, but closer to the MC she lets her guard down.

I'm hoping it continues like this.

This rework finish the damage done when they ripped out the heart of the story, just to be safe on Patreon?
no idea what you mean by be safe with pateron this always been pateron friendly. I can't see anything needing to be changed for Pateron even the "rape" scene you don't see very much and it's clear that was done for story telling.

Any sexual content yet, besides with that one wine aunt?
Kaylah the other model there is 2 or 3 scenes with her

I have enjoyed the rework. It does suck that my saves are scrapped. But I have enjoyed the additional scenes with Suzi. She was always my favorite LI. I'm happy an actual path exists for her. Good job dev. The additional scenes with Kaylah were great also. I look forward to when the story continues.

Now we wait to see the provocations between them with Suzi back in the house.

To be honest, I TOTALLY enjoyed having to start all over again with this game.
To all those who seem to want the "wham bam thank you ma'am" route then I maybe commiserate but the slow build up is after all the entire backbone of the story - gaining the trust, confidence and respect (and eventual passion, one presumes) of a woman who has gone through such trauma is a brilliant storyline so congrats to DB for this work.

What do you consider the heart of the story? To me, the story is how the fashion or entertainment industry is full of monsters and how Charlotte learns to trust a man, and those parts of the story are fine.
