I think he will take advantage of her naivety and eventually have sex with her.

I didn't say anything about Emma gets raped by Zak and im and i feel uncomfortable about the direction the thread is going. I personally believe that Emma gets talked, naive as she is, into it. And even is she just the bonus cherry - what a pun, ha! - on top to the way of Charlotte.

If DB wants to get a good balance between closing this part of the story in a believable way and preventing Charlotte and Emma from suffering too much while he keeps the tension till the end, he can split it in two sections.
In the first one, during the party, Zak tries to force Emma and somehow she manages to escape from him. Maybe someone goes so see what's going on in the room where they are after having heard Emma screaming. This is where the image of Emma leaving the party crying comes in.
However, a couple days later, he phones her trying to apologize, saying that he made a mistake, blaming the alcohol. Our naive Emma gives him a second chance maybe thinking that she was somehow responsible due to her lack of experience and, as a result, he finally has the opportunity to get into their house.
After that he just needs to wait for the right moment (when the MC is not at home) to drug them both (Emma just gets out of the equation) and, when he already has Charlotte naked on the bed and has just started to touch her (with the cameras already recording), the MC goes back home right after having met the detective and gets into the room just in time before Zak can go any further. Here is when the MC crushes Zak, and now they finally have all they need to close the case and to convince Emma about how Zak actually is.

I very much doubt he's going to get that far, unless the MC is out protecting Emma while Charlotte is vulnerable at home.
He knows about her reputation as the ice queen of Hillside... he isn't charming his way into Charlotte's pants, and he knows it.

Part of me feels like allowing Emma/Charlotte to be violated while under the MC's care creates a narrative obstacle that cannot be solved believably. The fallout would be devastating for both the MC and the family. Just my two cents.

Emma crying and calling someone , obviously upset and need someone right away , so it's settled that it's MC but why ? ...
Did Zak violate her in anyway ?...The possible actions from his side could be......Zak being Zak through out the entire updates...I still can't fathom how his brain operates sometimes , an unpredictable filthy slug...and also haven't had a decent amount of Zak content to deduce a much reliable outcome of this 'Date Event' where Zak being one of the main characters...So I'm gonna step out of my comfort zone and assume this...
I think 'this date' which is supposed to gain Emma's trust turns into a terrible event and the only reason I can conjure up is 'Zak did something'...could be anything to be honest...like I said above he is unpredictable at times, an immature teenager seeking validation in his sexual endeavors by sleeping with as many top female celebrities as possible...that much only we know about him.
According to Zak, his only shot at Charlotte is through her daughter Emma, a fat little girl who is also ugly as fuck and a 6. I don't think he'd step out of his "high class zone" just to get his way with this supposedly ugly girl...to cost him his only shot at Charlotte. He won't risk it. Something else is the reason for Emma's weep.
We always assume the worst possible outcomes every single time...this time maybe it's just that Emma finds out and makes an idea of Zak's disturbed side from something he said he shouldn't have and feels violated or the date went pretty well and this is something that happens after the event.
I hope crying Emma is not something that happens before the date, bullying probably or something else...so this Zak worm can swoop right in and save her again right before their eventful date...fuck that.
Emma's classmate deserves another shot at winning her friendship back.
